I struggled with the barrels as I dragged it through the hallway I dropped it among the other barrels and panted I was really tired at that moment I wished I was rich but it was an empty wish .

I beamed as I collected the envelope the smile never left my lips it stayed like glue but this changed after I opened it.

he said and walked away to there was nothing I could do to change anything I just had to accept my fate.

Staring at my life in a box I stared at the TV playing the songs of the 90s the heater needed fixing and the roof need to be tarred or we all die of cold in winter.
I stared at the bulbs winking at me we needed a new one I sighed and wished I was rich just for once and I would fix my life everything in it.
"Anne you are home" I heard my dad from behind as his wheel chair made creaky sounds he needed a new one but only if he could walk I couldn't pay for the surgery I couldn't do anything to my life then I realized I was a failure.
