CHAPTER 4 THE PHONE CALL (AT THE DINNER)

            a week later...
   I was woken up by a phonecall truecaller Identified this call as a call from     W group of companies.
  
     I knew it was the hod to be I almost forgot something like that happened I panicked in fear as I picked up the call.

    "I'll text you an address 6:00 some guys will arrive for you follow them it's a dinner all you need to do is act like my fiancee okay" he said and hung up before I could say anything else I was tired but I wanted to pay back my debts also.

    I waited like a child waiting for the mother though scared and terrified at the same time I felt I was just paying my debt to him.

    I wondered if it was right or wrong but he was a nice person after all he just wanted me to pretend as his fiancee.

    I tried my best to look good but I just didn't have any good dress to wear so I decided to wait for whatever fate awaiting me.

    They arrived as expected and I just followed into the black van,inside the van it felt like I was being kidnapped but at the same time it felt like I was a celebrity.

     I tried asking them questions but they acted like they were deaf it annoyed me that I couldn't talk anymore.

    We arrived but it wasn't a dinner it was a fashion boutique I was wondering what this was "the boss said to dress you up" when a lady whispered into my ear.
  
   I walked in and found the most amazing sight it was amazing and all laid out for me after all of it I found out the boutique was his.

    I waited for ages and I felt uneasy hiring a person.

     It was something I needed to do I just couldn't help it but after all of this I hope she doesn't screw up I prayed silently In my mind and wondered why she was not there after waiting for ages.

     The party started and she didn't arrive I was very lucky since my father has not shown up I was happy but anxious at the same time.

   "Hey Mark" I turned and I was really pissed off there she was Katie a cousin of mine she is a cute little cousin who has dirty tricks up her sleeves.

   "Hi Katy" I pronounced her name wrong just to piss her off  "uhm if it's not too much to ask where is your so called wife I mean the wife you told uncle you had?" She asked and my mind ran back to energy she haven't arrived .

    "She's coming got some makeup to do before coming you know ladies stuff" I lied but it didn't work out I could almost say Katie is the smartest person among my cousins.

     "Okay then let's wait for the wife you got married to abroad without anyone knowing about it"  I knew Katie had figured it out but I had to play cool she was testing me I sure knew that.

     We both waited for almost an hour and I almost lost hope of energy ever coming "why isn't she here yet? Uncle is here" Katie said and it sent cold sweats down my face.

    At that moment I wished in my mind that energy arrived I swore to make her pay for this but I still wished she arrived I tried to avoid my father but he was coming straight at me and I stood there like a motionless fool.

      "Dad I....I...." "Honey!?" I turned and I felt happy for some reason here she was looking beautiful than I had planned her dress stood firm on her body and I couldn't take my eyes off her.
