CHAPTER 5 (THOUGHT IT HAD ENDED IT JUST STARTED)

(pov) Mark
    I was astonished I couldn't believe my eyes she looked different than the lady I had met at the roadside I swear everything I swore to do to her vanished but I can't be distracted I need to see how sharp she can be.

     "Hi father" she said and I was shocked I wanted to interrupt but she pinched me I smiled and I didn't believe what was happening
 
     My father the father I had known to be a man with the tough face has melted in front of this energy like an energy drink I bought a week ago.

     She sure knew how to act we settled at the dinner table and it was a quiet scenario Zeke was very quiet and it was an unexpected sight.
  
    I watched him attend to the visitors and somehow somewhere in his eyes I saw he was happy thinking I would fail but Instead he did.

    "Father I got this for you it's your birthday" energy said and I was really impressed as she brought out a box I stared at everyone trying to see what my energy got for her fake father in law.

     My father opened it and I was wondering how she knew my father wore glasses the glasses was not from our company so it was certain she bought it.

     "Nobody prepared something I needed thank you daughter" "you are welcome father" this intimate relationship between my father and energy I didn't expect it.

     "You should try it on I'll help you" I watched energy help my father with his googles"wow it fits perfectly you look 50 years younger" she said and I saw the pink stuff at my father's ear and I almost laughed.

      "Really!!??" He said and I wondered if he really thought he looked younger "you really picked yourself a good one" my father commented and I knew I was getting 2 steps closer to my goal.

     "Father you can come by and I would make you orange tarts it's a special recipe I learned from my mom" energy said and I smiled then I picked the word "stop by ? What do you mean stop by?" I asked and she pinched me I really had a bad feeling about it.

     "So what is your her name Mark you should answer that" Zeke said and I clenched my fist if only I could punch him.

     But truly I didn't know her name but I was sure I gave her the name energy because what she wa carrying was more than what a normal person could carry a iron barrel? For goodness sake.

     "Uhm.....it's "  I stammered and I stared at her she tried moving her lips but she had many eyes on her  I definitely remember her telling me her name gosh how could I miss such an important part.

     I knew for sure that I couldn't lie or Zeke would look her up "Ah...n..?" I remembered that and energy nodded "Anne?" "Yes"

    "what a unique name" my father complimented and I couldn't pick out anything unique in her name not even a letter.

     "I only have the good fishes and leave the crumbs for the others" this statement I was sure I pulled Zeke's leg.

     "What if the others found a big fish among the crumbs?" I didn't have an answer for that so I didn't reply.
   
     "then let the others keep it cause he has more than enough" energy said and I stared at her I was really impressed I got More than enough already she was right.

      "Mark your wife is one smart bird let's have a toast to uncle for his birthday" Zeke said and we cheered
    Energy was about to drink it when I snatched it I just didn't want her to get drunk and then start spewing nonsense but before I knew it she already drank 2 cups.

     "Another toast to Mark's wife Mrs Anderson W" Zeke said again and I knew he was plotting something I didn't stop her anymore since I thought she was confident and had high tolerance in drinking.

      Father left not too long after the second toast and the dinner hall was almost empty Zeke didn't leave he watched Anne like his life depended on it.

      "Good luck Mark I'll be expecting a baby so you can snatch all of it without even leaving crumbs" Katie said and left she was wrong about the baby and she was right about snatching it all.

  We got outside and I was very happy but didn't show it "is that all I have to do?" She asked and I nodded "yeah sure and this is for a thank you don't take it seriously I was going to toss it out"

    I said and handed her a necklace that belonged to my mother I was going to toss it out but I thought it was better giving it out.

    "Thank you so much and if you have anything that involves money I'll be there like your little puppy" she said and handed me the fake ring.
 
     "You can keep it,it looks good on you" I said and she smiled "hi they will take you home drive safely" I watched her go and it was MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
