The final exams for the senior students were fast approaching and Coline and John were both feeling the pressure. They had worked hard throughout their college years and had put in countless hours of studying and research. They were both determined to pass their exams and graduate with honors.

The day of the final exams arrived and Coline and John were both feeling a mix of nerves and excitement. They hugged each other and wished each other luck before heading off to their respective classrooms.

After the exams, they both awaited the results with bated breath. Finally, the results were posted and they both rushed to check their scores. Coline and John both passed the exams with flying colors, they both graduated with honors and their hard work and dedication had paid off.

After the graduation, they both applied for a job as scientists in different companies, but they made sure that they will still be in touch and will continue to support each other. They both got accepted and started working as scientists, using the knowledge and skills they have learned from college.

Years passed and Coline and John have achieved great success in their careers, and they both remembered the promise they made to Joshua that they will make him proud. They knew that Joshua's spirit will always be with them and will always be a part of their lives, and they will always be grateful for the time they have spent with him.

With a new job came new colleagues for Coline and John. Coline quickly found herself drawn to one of her coworkers, who happened to be named Joshua. He was smart, funny, and kind, and she couldn't help but feel a little bit of a spark when she was around him. She tried to push it out of her mind, knowing that it wouldn't be fair to John and the memory of their friend Joshua.

John, on the other hand, still had feelings for Coline. He had tried to move on over the years, but he couldn't shake the feeling that they were meant to be together. He knew that Coline didn't feel the same way, but he couldn't help how he felt. He didn't want to jeopardize their friendship, so he kept his feelings to himself.

The three of them would often work together on projects and hang out after work. John could see the way Coline and Joshua interacted and it made him feel a little jealous. But he knew that Coline deserved to be happy and he was happy for her if she found that happiness with Joshua.

Coline, on the other hand, noticed the way John looked at her when she was around Joshua and she felt guilty. She knew she couldn't control her feelings for Joshua, but she didn't want to hurt John in the process. She was torn between her growing feelings for Joshua and her loyalty to John.

It was a difficult situation for all of them, but they all knew that they valued their friendship above all else. They made sure to always be honest with each other and to support one another no matter what.

Christmas Eve 2021 came, and John and Coline were sitting together on the couch, watching a movie and patiently waiting for the clock to strike 12:00. They were both feeling a bit nostalgic and reminiscing about old times. Suddenly, Coline's phone rang. It was Joshua, her coworker and current fling. She answered the call and John couldn't help but feel a twinge of irritation. He knew that Coline cared for Joshua, but he couldn't shake the feeling that he was somehow intruding on their friendship.

Coline talked to Joshua for a few minutes, laughing and chatting excitedly. John tried to ignore the feelings of jealousy that were creeping up inside of him and focus on the movie. But he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.

After Coline hung up, she turned to John and apologized for the interruption. "It's okay," John said, trying to sound casual. "I know you care about Joshua. But I can't help but feel a little bit jealous."

Coline was taken aback. She had never considered that her feelings for Joshua might be hurting John. She felt guilty and apologized for not thinking about how he might feel.

John reassured her that he was happy for her and that he just wanted her to be happy. They hugged and watched the rest of the movie in comfortable silence, both lost in their own thoughts.

As the clock struck 12:00 and the new year began, they both knew that things would never be the same between them. But they also knew that they would always be there for each other, no matter what.

As the days passed, Coline and Joshua's relationship continued to grow stronger. They went on dates, and talked about their future together. John was happy for her, but at the same time, he couldn't shake the feeling that he had lost something important. One day, John finally mustered up the courage to tell Coline how he truly felt. He confessed to her that he had been in love with her for a long time and that he couldn't bear the thought of losing her to Joshua. Coline was shocked and saddened by John's confession. She had never realized the depth of his feelings for her and felt guilty for not being more sensitive to his needs. She told him that she had always considered him as a dear friend and that she didn't want to lose that friendship. John understood and they decided to talk openly and honestly about their feelings. They agreed that it was best to be honest with each other, even if it was difficult. As time went on, Coline and Joshua's relationship continued to progress while John and Coline's friendship deepened. They eventually came to realize that their friendship was stronger than any romantic feelings they had for each other. In the end, Coline and Joshua's relationship didn't work out.

But Coline and John's friendship remained strong, and they both found happiness in their own ways. They were grateful for the time they spent together, and for the lessons they learned about love, friendship, and the importance of being honest with each other.

One day as the two friends are having fun at a tea shop, Angela - John's childhood bestfriend encounters them. And John is startled because he like Angela so much that he cried when Angela had to transfer out of their middle school school.

As John and Angela reconnected, Coline could see the spark in John's eyes and the way he smiled around Angela. She knew that he had always had feelings for her, and she couldn't help but feel a little jealous. But she pushed those feelings aside and was happy for her friend.

As the three of them caught up, Coline realized that even though she had feelings for John, their friendship was more important to her. And she could see that Angela was the one who truly made John happy.

She encouraged John to pursue a relationship with Angela, and he was hesitant at first. But with Coline's support, he mustered up the courage to tell Angela how he felt.

To their surprise, Angela had also had feelings for John for a long time. And they started a relationship together.

Coline was happy for her friends, and she knew that they were meant to be together. She was grateful for the time she spent with John and for the lessons she learned about love, friendship and the importance of supporting the people you care about.

John and Angela's relationship continued to grow stronger and they eventually got married. Coline was their maid of honor and was happy to see her friend find true love.

As the years went by, Coline's life took her in different directions, but she always stayed in touch with John and Angela, and their friendship remained strong. She was grateful for the memories they shared and for the lessons they taught her about love, friendship and the importance of supporting the people you care about.
