{2 days later} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Saturday and Sunday were boring I just spent them writing lyrics and sleeping. But I actually have plans today but I was kind of nervous. Number one about seeing Chrissie again after my awkward encounter on Friday night.
But I shrugged it off and got dressed. I picked out a red body con dress with a small black bag. I put my hair into a bun and slipped on my Mary janes.
I went into ems room and saw her putting on makeup. She smiled at me in the mirror then turned to me. "You'll never guess what" "what"? I asked sitting in the end of her bed.
"Basically Malcom decided to manage that Steve guys band but when they had there first gig he flaked and ran off stage it was so awkward"! She said getting up. "Oh god that's making me nervous for our first gig" I said crossing my arms. "Wait do you have a gig"? She asked excitedly "nope not yet.. but we will soon"! I said.
"Okay just please tell me when because I wanna be there" she said sitting next to me. "Ooo and also Malcom's auditioning a guy today at the shop" I nodded and then we got up. We walked downstairs and straight to the front door. "We're off" i shouted waiting for a response. Em just rolled her eyes and pulled me out of the front door.
Her and mum didn't exactly have the best relationship in the world... but let's not get into that right now.
We walked for a bit until we reached the shop. I walked in fist and saw a two guys and Malcom sitting down. I walked behind the only one I knew and ruffled his hair. "Hey Steven man" "Oh it's the bowie lover" he said smiling. "Yep that's me" I said smiling "never actually got your name" he said raising an eyebrow "Zoe, Zoe dolton" I said sitting down next to him. "and I Heard bout your little escape act don't worry it happens to the best of us" I said patting his shoulder . He blushed in embarrassment a bit then changed the subject "You in a band"? He asked looking at me puzzled.
"Yeah just started" I said proudly "name"? He asked "Metric" I replied with.
{I couldn't think of a name so I just nicked metric for this story it doesn't have any relation to the actual band metric I just stole the name}
