Marinette didn't have to wait long to test her fighting skills and quick thinking in crisis situations, because she barely left school the next day, heard screams coming from the Center, and also noticed what looked like a huge mountain of pink foam.
Pink foam?
She immediately rushed to the alley behind the house, where were only garbage bins and no windows and, opening a hand sewn handbag with Tikki inside, said the magical formula knowing from experience that it's better to firstly close her eyes. Maybe she should get some SLR sunglasses? It wouldn't look bad.
In her youth, she read a lot of superhero books and comics, so she knew that in the beginning you had to find out what actually happened and how to deal with it. She stopped on one of the roofs close to the suspicious object and carefully looked from behind the chimney to end up face-to-face with Cat Noir.
Her scream of surprise was muted by a quick putting a hand to her mouth. With the other hand she grabbed her partner by elbow and pulled behind her, so he also was hidden.
'You can't appear like that from nowhere!' she hissed at him, folding her arms on her chest. 'Beside that, haven't you read books about superheroes? The longer the bad guy don't know where you are, the bigger advantage you have! We have to collect informations and make an action plan!'
'Sorry,' the blond started and Marinette noticed that with this his ears, which were sticking out of his hair, fell flat. This cat ones. 'I didn't think.'
'Calm down,' the girl put her hand of his shoulder, stating that he was a lot higher than her. 'We're just learning. It's normal, that we make mistakes. I almost fallen off the roof, today, straight to the garbage truck, which was behind the corner' seeing, that he is close to burst out laughing, probably with full volume, she gently hit him in the belly. 'Don't you dare laugh, or you'll be the bait,' she warned him.
'Fine, fine,' Cat Noir massaged himself in a place that was met with her fist and made a calming gesture. 'In return, let me tell you that yesterday I was almost late because I collided with a pigeon. It came so suddenly and it was impossible for me to stop.'
Marinette smiled amused and once again clung to the wall, observing the surroundings. The square, where various outdoor exhibitions and small concerts were held, was all flooded with coloured foam. An important detail was that every person, that touched it were glued to it and couldn't move. This, what the girl thought was a mountain, was an enormous human covered with foam from head to toe, which was flowing from him in a big waves, covering the streets around the square more and more. The dark-haired concentrated and, to her amusement, she noticed an item, which wasn't a part of the outfit of the possessed person. The criminal's left hand was grasping a big bottle, which had to be a shampoo or bubble bath. Now she know that Akuma was there.
Just after the return from the night meeting, Tikki flooded her with another portion of informations that will be necessary for doing her new job. She only hoped that she won't make a mistake. In practice it could have the dire consequences.
'I had plans to wash my hair, but I'm not a fan of baths in front of other people,' the boy mumbled, standing right behind her. 'Do you think that we should talk with him?'
'It's a good way of distraction,' she communicated her observations to her partner and, also, a plan that she came up with a moment before. She didn't know from where this thoughtfulness came to her, but she didn't complain. 'What do you think about it?'
'I'm in, my dear,' the boy stretched, reminding himself of a cat more than before, and grabbed his stick. 'Ladies first.'
Rolling her eyes she threw her yo-yo and neatly landed before the monster. After a second, her partner appeared beside her.
