The day of the ball came faster than they expected. Hope reluctantly accepted the will of the ancient powers, hoping for changes in the near future, and now she was flying around her, adjusting the dress on the girl's body.

'Perfectly!' she squealed, delighted to the dark-haired girl that was looking at herself in the mirror. 'Adrien will fall when he sees you!'

'You think?' Marinette laughed. 'Maybe it'll be the first time when he will fall, and not me?'

'What are you laughing ab...' the sentence of the blond, who was walking into the room, was broken with a dull crash that was usually heard when someone else was moving.

The dark-haired, now almost curling up in laughter, nailed the turtle with the Kwami above the Adrien who was laying on the floor, and she helped him up.

'Are you okay?' she asked, giggling. 'Excuse me, but I don't have your reflexes.'

'Wow,' the blond's only and how eloquent answer, was enough for her to start laughing again.

'Oh well, well, well!' fully ready Drach emerged from the trapdoor. 'Ladybug as you see!'

'You also look impeccably,' she bobbed gently, then she left Adrien in the middle of the room and went to the exit. 'It's time to go, if we don't want to be late.'

Before the bakery was a rented by Adrien limousine, which was operated by a bodyguard, with which they were supposed to arrive safely at. It was first time for Marinette to ride in such an expensive car. It was so spacey that they could throw a small party inside.

As soon as they drove up to the illuminated entrance to the hall, she looked at the accompanying her boys.

'Ready?' she asked, putting her mask on her face and helping Adrien wear his. In the end, they were here as the Ladybug and the Cat Noir. 'Wait a moment before you go out,' she informed Drach and Farra, getting closer to the door. 'We'll drag away the crowd.'

It's time for a show off!

The first to go out was Cat Noir, arousing considerable interest among journalists lurking around who rushed to him with cameras. Even more excitement was caused by the fact that instead of going to the hall, he leaned over and helped anyone but the great Ladybug to get out of the limousine.

The crowd went crazy. People, who were behaving more like starving animals fighting about the last piece of food, were shoving, pushing themselves into the smallest cuts of space and screaming over one another to be first that'll know anything from their adored heroes.

Marinette, who was standing in the middle of this fuss, had enough of this even before she got out of the car. The flashes of lights were slowly blinding her, screams were deafening and the crowd was irritating. Thankfully, they were ready for this kind of situations.

Take us away from here. Before I'll loose my patience.

Not making her repeat it twice, the boy detached from his belt a, specially shared by Plagg, staff and, grabbing her by her waist, he lifted them a little above the crowd, then he put them just before the doors. In a moment, it became a lot quieter and nicer.

Leaving behind the shocked journalists, that were still standing in a place in which they left them with their stupid facial expressions, they went inside a hall in which, to Marinette's happiness, they couldn't go in, just to be attacked by no one else than everyone's favourite, Chloe Bourgeois. The girl was dressed in a dress of pure gold that was probably set with some diamonds, because it was reflecting light everywhere and it was impossible to look at her.
