My Baby Girl! (Niall Horan)

LEXI'S POV

My baby! My baby! MY BABY!  My thoughts jolt me awake.  Last thing I remember was Niall rushing in.  Why am I in a hospital? How did I get here? WHERE IS MY CHILD?? I scan the room for her but don't see her anywhere. I push the emergency button on the side of my bed.  A nurse rushed in.

"What's wrong!?" She asks frantically.

"I can't find my little girl! I don't know what happened or how I got here! And I CAN'T FIND MY LITTLE GIRL!" I say just as frantic.

"Miss, calm down.  You came here with a blonde boy who was shot as well.  A brunette boy came in later asking for you with a little girl.  I can go get them if you would like." She says.

"Yes go get them right away please!" I say and she hurries out of the room.  A minute later Liam walks through the door holding Alex.

"Mommy!" Alex shouts and squirms in Liam's arms until he puts her down.  Then she runs over to me and I burr my face in her hair.  Liam joins the group hug and I hear the door open again.

"Why did nobody inform me that a group hug session was taking place?" Niall says walking over to us.

"Niall!" I say happily.  I'm glad he didn't get hurt.

"Hey princess.  How's the leg?" He asks.

I shrug, "Doesn't hurt too bad, I guess whatever drugs they got in me are strong."  I say.

He walks over to me carefully and slowly bends down to hug me.  I pull him down and squeeze him tight.  He lets out a pained whimper but doesn't pull away.  I look up at him with a worried expression on my face.

"What's wrong?  What happened?"  I ask.

"Well, after that guy shot you and I was carrying you out he shot one more time.  It hit my lower back so the doctors had to patch me up right after they took you." He said. 

"Oh My God! I'm so sorry.  I had no clue!"I say.  

"All's good." He replies.

NIALL'S POV

"All's good." I say.  I was so worried that Lexi wasn't going to make it.  I'd been stressing out about it since the moment she was shot.  I had been signing release papers for Lexi and I when Liam texted me and told me she was awake.  I quickly signed what I had to and ran to her room, which was kind of hard since I had a bullet wound.  

"When can we leave?" Lexi asked.

"Whenever you want princess.  I already signed the release papers." I say.  Ever since I almost lost her, I promised myself that I'm not letting her go ever again.  In fact I was planning a way to ask her out on a date.

"Can we weave now mommy?" Alex asks.

"We sure can baby!" Lexi says.

"I want ice cweam mommy!" Alex whined on the ride home from the hospital.  

"No, you can't. Not until we eat dinner." Lexi says.

"Daddy. can I pwease has ice cweam?" Alex asks me with a puppy dog face.  My eyes widen and I look to Lexi for help.  Knowing I couldn't say no she looks at Alex sternly.

"Alex Horan.  What have you been told about using Daddy to get what you want?" She says.

"Uhh to do it wif deffeshion?" Alex replies.  Okay I'm confused, what the hell is deffeshion?

"No. Not do it with discretion. Don't do it at all.  You know that." Lexi says.  How did she understand that?

"Sowy mommy." Alex says with her head down.  I see Lexi's face soften. 

"Baby you just can't do that okay?" She asks. 

"Okay mommy." Alex says.

"You told her to use me with discretion?" I ask.

"No, Lou did." She says.  

"He would do that." I say as we pull up to my flat.  I made Lexi and Alex move in with me after that guy broke in.  The guys packed up all her things and brought it over. 

"What's all this?" Lexi asked confused.  All the guys were bringing her things into my flat at the moment.

"Uhh well, I thought since that guy broke in that you'd like to move in with me?" I say, but it ended up more like a question.  

"Niall I don't know what to say..."She trails off.

"Say yes.  I love you, I never stopped loving you.  My life has been a disaster without you. I need you in my life." I say tears welling u in my eyes because I was afraid she'd say no.

"Oh Niall, I was going to say yes, I just didn't know how to thank you. That's all. I love you too!" She says.  

"Well you could start by being my girlfriend again..." I say quieter than I meant. 

"Okay, yeah, I'd like that." She says and my heart flips.  I smile wide at her and get out the car.  Life has just started getting good.

I'm so sorry!  I'm a sucky writer.  I've been caught up with school work ad forgot about writing completely.  Don't be mad at me I'll try to balance writing and my schoolwork out.  I love you all!
