NIALL'S POV

"Please Niall, I want carrots!" Louis begged.  "Fine!" I shouted grabbed my coat.  He's been begging me for over an hour.  I walk down to the store and head over to the carrots.  "No Alex, you can't have those." I hear a familiar voice say. "Pwease mommy?" A little girl about 2 or 3 says.  "No.  Alexandra Horan come back here this instant and put those cookies down." The girl shouts.  Wait a minute. Horan? As in me Horan?  Maybe I heard her wrong. I look over to where I heard the voices, but they were gone.  I knew her voice from somewhere, but I coudn't put my finger on it.  I grab the pack of carrots and head over to the checkout line.  "Hey Lexi, hi Alex.  Is this all for you two?" The cashier says.  Hey, I know that name.  Lexi was the name of my ex girlfriend, whom I'm still madly in love with.  Wait she has a kid! She's only 20 though, and this kid looks like 2 or 3. Wow. "Yeah thanks Kate. Hows Lucky doing?" Lexi asks. yep thats her. "He's doing better, still limping, but he's getting there..." she trails off looking at me."Anyway I don't wanna keep you away from your babysitting, you should probably get going.  Oh Hi Niall"  She says looking at me the entire time.  Lexi turns around and freezes. "U-um y-yeah I should probably g-get going. Bye Kate, Niall."  Lexi studders and whispers my name.  She turned around grabbed the child and walks quickly out the door. "LEXI!" I call out to her.  I throw 10 dollars at Kate and run after Lexi.  

LEXI'S POV 

"LEXI!" Niall shouts as I walk away as quickly as I can.  Why me?  Why did Niall have to show up?  He almost found out that I have a daughter, let alone his.

FLASHBACK

"Hey baby! I got through!  Simon signed us! I did it!"Niall says excitedly through the phone.   My stomach drops. I just found out recently that I was pregnant, and the only on I have ever had sex with was Niall.  I can't do that to him... I wont take his dream away from him.  I need to let my love go... "That's amazing babe." I say with tears falling down my face.  "What's wrong baby?! Why are you crying?!" Niall asks worried.  "Nialler, I love you, and I always will, but I don't think I can do us anymore." I whisper.  "What, why?" I hear him start to cry.  I hate hearing him cry.  "Please don't cry over me... I'm not worth it.  You're going to be all over, and there will be no time for me.  And I can't have you giving up your dreams for me." I cry into the phone.  "I'll quit! I'd do anything for you! Please don't leave me..." He cries.  By now the tears were streaming down my face.  "I'm sorry. I'll always love you." I say and hang up the phone.  I write a letter to my mother and then another one for Niall knowing he'll be coming by my house as soon as he can.  And with that I did what I do best....I ran.

END OF FLASHBACK

I Hear Niall running behind me and I groan.  I know he's going to catch me.  He grabs my arm, " Can we talk?"
