It was a lovely Saturday morning. The sky was a stunning blue, the grass seemed somehow greener, and the birds were chirping a beautiful song in harmony with each other. Despite all of that, everyone sitting in the black Yukon was pissed off.
Elijah Mikaelson was sitting on the driver's side, going exactly 23 miles per hour through the town crowded with people. His left index fingers were tapping vigorously against the wheel as he took a right turn.
Freya Mikaelson was sitting in the passenger's seat next to Elijah. She was focused on the map in her lap, which was heading her and her siblings straight to their runaway brother. She knew that the spell cloaking hiding him was powerful because it had taken her channeling Elijah, and Rebekah to complete it successfully. It still wasn't enough to give her an exact place, but it led her to a town. Dibury, South Carolina.
Marcel was sitting behind Elijah, staring out the window. He came along with the Mikaelsons for their road trip completely by force. Elijah had not only demanded that he come along but snapped his neck when he refused.
Rebekah Mikaelson was behind Freya reading chapter 11 of To Kill a Mocking Bird. This whole trip, in her opinion, was a great idea for her because if nothing else she was getting the chance to go shopping somewhere new.
Hayley was simply lying down at the very back of the truck. The only thing that was on her mind was Hope. She was hoping that the locator spell would work and they would find Klaus because her daughter needed him. Because the family didn't know what they were getting into, they opted to keep Hope in the hotel they had gotten about fifteen minutes away from Dibury.
"There," Freya said as she pointed to a table which held five people, one of them being none other than Klaus Mikaelson. Everyone was alert, now. Rebekah had put her bookmark back inside her book. Marcel was now looking at how the fact that one of the boys that his former father was sitting with looked like a carbon copy of Klaus with dark curly hair. Hayley was now sitting up and was angry seeing him just chilling with whoever this was when his daughter needed him.
When Elijah parked, everyone tried to pull at their door, but Freya locked the door with magic. "Wait."
Exactly when those words left her mouth, four people rose and walked out of the restaurant while Klaus went up to the counter and put money down. The hybrid then used his vampire speed to catch up with whoever he was with. More anger rose in Hayley once she saw his fingers interlock with a blonde woman.
Being able to sense it, Marcel spoke up. "Three of them are children. Are we really going to attack children?"
No one answered. Freya just waved her hand and the doors to the car unlocked. Elijah was the first one out. Followed by Rebekah, who had to raise her seat to let Hayley out. Marcel was the last one out of the vehicle as he didn't necessarily want to be on his little trip.
Freya felt a wave of magic once she got out of the car. Going with her gut, she cast a quick invisibility spell on everyone not wanting to be discovered.
The three Mikaelsons, Marcel, and Hayley followed Klaus and the four people that were with him. After around six minutes of endless walking, they showed up at a reservoir. Two teenagers and a boy who was obviously a little younger ran to the water while Klaus and this blonde woman sat down in the grass.
Sensing Hayley's anger, Freya dropped the invisibility spell she was holding.
Hayley could feel her anger grow and before she could help it, she was marching angrily over to where Klaus was sitting and smacked the original hybrid hard. The blond woman who Klaus was sitting with, got up quickly and pushed Hayley back.
