chapter one - girl from the alleyway
~Jane's POV~
One good day I was just chillin' in the void, spinning around in circles when I got an idea to go to a new universe. One I hav never been to. So I packed my bags and thought of a universe set in New York City, New York. A portal pops up in front of me, and I walk through.
" Woah. This place is super cool. Wait, where is my hat? " I say as I walk out of the portal into a dark alleyway.
I grab my hat out of my bag to hide my horns. Then I walk out to the street, accidentally bumping into a girl.
" I'msorryiwasntlookingwhereiwasgoingi'msosorry " I apologize quickly.
She turns around and I can't help but get memorized by her eyes. They were a beautiful dark brown color. She smiles and says,
" It's ok, but where were you going in such a rush though? "
" No idea " I say. It's not a complete lie but not the whole truth
The conversation was cut short due to my phone ringing.
The screen was glowing blue, Sam's color *my phone doesn't have names it has colors that symbolize the person, when they call me but when they text me it's their name*
I have no choice but to answer the phone, Sam wouldn't call if it weren't important
" Olo " I say into the phone only to be greeted by screaming
" WHERE IS SHE!!!!!! THERE IS AN EMERGENCY AND SHE ISN'T ANYWHERE TO BE FOUND!! " Rye was screaming around the void on the other end of the phone
" NO NEED TO SCREAM. I'LL BE THERE SOON! " I scream to the phone before hanging up and looking at the girl
" Sorry about that. My friends don't like it when I leave without telling them where I'm going apparently " I say to the girl. It isn't a huge lie, just not the whole truth
" No problem! " She replies
" What is your name? " She asked me
" It's Jane. And you are? " I say in response
" April. April O'Neil " April says as we shake hands.
Little does she know that I now have her number *if someone tells me their name I get their number*
Anyway we part ways and I went back to the alleyway and was about to make a portal when a blue one appears
* Hmmm, that's odd. I don't remember having blue portals * I thought but didn't move prob because I thought it was one of my friends
" Anyway, I don't think anyone will see us this time. I mean who goes out at this time? " A male voice said that was coming out of the portal
* Who is that? They sound gay * I started thinking
" Right then who is that? " A second voice said
* I wonder how Manny there are *
" Maybe they are friendly " a third voice chipps in
I put my hand on my head only to realize I didn't have my hat on, I started to freak out
* Oh no, oh no, oh no. What if they start screaming? *
I decided to make a portal and leave before anyone else came out of the portal.
~Leo's POV~
* Wait, other people can make portals? What did they use? I'm so confused * I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't hear anything any of my brothers were saying untill
" Earth to Leo. Don't make me bring DR. Delicate touch here " Mikey said and that brought me out of my thoughts
" I-im fine. " I say going back home. I'm done with the surface for a while
Donnie had brought April over because ' I wasn't acting myself ' I didn't know he cared that much about me
" Leo. Dude what's got you feeling so down? " Raph asked me
" I- I don't know. When we were in the alleyway and saw that kid- and they made a portal... I don't know " I got up and went to my room
" Hey, Leo " April says moving my blue curtain out of the way
" Yeah? " I reply
" The bros said you weren't felling the greatest. What's on your mind? "
" Well we saw a girl open a portal, that's all. Kinda freaked me out because I thought you had to have some mystic magic weapon of some sort of whatever. Thinking is more Donnie's thing, you know? "
" Guys!!!! " Mikey screams while running around in circles holding a hat
" What is it Mikey? " April says, going to see what Mikey has
" Well I found a cool looking hat where we saw the kid open the portal " Mikey screamed excitedly
" What- she was wearing a hat? " Donnie says, Analyzing the blue hat. It looks like a beenie
" Hey, I saw a girl wearing that hat " April says remembering Jane
Then at that moment a little creature teleported next to Donnie, squeaking and took the beenie and teleported away
" Well then. That was a strange experience " April said confused. We all were. Even big-brained Donnie
" They said 'sorry if I'm scaring you but this belongs to my mom. " Mikey says,
" How did you understand that? " Donnie asked him still confused
" I- I Dunno, I just did! "
* Woah my little brother can speak squeak. I didn't know that, and I've known him my entire life.
