Chapter four - friends?
~Mellow's POV~
I am so happy that someone can understand now, they are a stranger but I don't care. I can finally speak my mind and I'm not letting anything stop me
" Hola amigo, " I say looking at Mikey
" Hello new friend, " he says smiling
" Mellow please give your mother the serum, " auntie Rye said then covered her mouth while mumbling about something
" I will only give it if mom apologies for everything she has done, " I said looking at Mikey once more
" Jane has to apologize first, " Mikey said to Jane
" Mellow. Come with me " mom said. She looked sad
And so I followed mom to an area that no one was in
" Mellow dear, I love you but you don't speak English. I've tried to work on a serum for a gift but nothing has been working so I was taking my anger out on you. I'm so very sorry " mom said crying
And so we waited a few moments while mom stopped crying before going to the rest of the group and we saw auntie Rye watching Donnie play a game ( mostly watching him though), Raph, Leo, and sissy Rose hanging out, and Mikey was skating around with April on skateboards while sissy Sam was on the ceiling looking angry
~Donnie's POV~
Ok so I'm playing a PVP game while a fallen angel watches me play, she has a nice smile but won't answer any of my questions, Jane scares me when she walks up to us
" Hello, I have the serum with me, want to take it now? " Jane askes Rye
" yes please " Rye replies and takes the serum
" mkoy I'll leave you alone now, " Jane says and leaves
*squeak* Mellow says
Mikey gasps after this
*SQUEAK* Mellow nervously squeaks
And for some reason, Mikey runs to Jane and they start talking he is freaking out waving his arms around and Jane is calmly talking to him- never mind she just went wide-eyed she starts talking to him again, and now he is running towards me and he just grabbed my arm and dragged me to his room.
" ok so I have something to tell you, " he says
" What is it? " I ask a little worried because he is freaking out
" ok so uhhh Rye has a crush on you " Mikey spits out
" SHE HAS A WHAT????????? " I yell a little too loud and April pokes her head in
" what you yelling for " April asks me
"Nothing. Everything is fine " I reply and calmly walk back to my room where Rye was waiting for me
~Rye's POV~
I was just waiting very patiently for Donnie when I heard him scream 'she has a what' and instantly knew he is talking about me but then how did Mikey- Mellow, im gonna kill her for this.
I didn't hear Donnie come back so when he said " so you have a crush on me? " it terrified me
" Uh I- Uhhhh " I start stammering, while my anxiety goes haywire
" Now where did you hear that? "I say when I can finally form sentences
" Mikey. But apparently, he heard it from Mellow " Donnie replies, " I can't tell if he likes me back, and if he doesn't then what is he doing? But if he does what is he doing? I'm so confused.
" I told mellow that as a joke? " I say, forcing a laugh.
" Are you sure about that? " He asks me while walking towards me
" Mhm, very sure. " I reply, backing away
" Are you sure you are sure? " he says still walking towards me
" Mhm positive, " I say, back against a wall. Once I hit that wall I knew my options were cut short. In a panic, I teleported to Jane.
" Jane. My best friend. I need- " I start to say right after I teleported here but when I opened my eyes I saw the blue turtle and Rose with her so I just left, I end up running into Mikey and he starts to apologize for telling Donnie but I just walk away trying to get somewhere to be alone.
" Ahhhhh this place is a maze! " I hear Sam scream from somewhere in the tunnels.
Jane teleports to me and starts asking me what I wanted to talk to her about earlier but if I'm being honest can't exactly remember then right before she was about to leave I remembered and start to ramble on
" Ok so I like Donnie, he is really cute and all but he found out I like him and now I don't know what he is going to think about me now, like what if he doesn't like me back... what am I going to do then? " I tell her and she just looks at me and says
" so what, if he doesn't like you back that's his loss, you are a great friend and a wonderful person if he doesn't like you back then that is his loss "
" Thank you girlie, you're the best... So how do I ask him if he likes me back... Never mind im avoiding him at all costs "I say, teleporting away.
~Jane's POV~
" Well okay then, " I say to myself out loud.
I ended up teleporting to Leo and Donnie.
" Hello to you guys, I just had the weirdest conversation with Rye and now she is avoiding- uhm everyone, " I said, almost spilling that she was just avoiding Donnie to Donnie
" Uhhhh okay then... that's odd but whatever, " Leo said, walking out of the room with his funny little gay walk.
" Uhm so I need help with something, also I don't usually ask people for help so you should feel lucky, " Donnie told me once Leo was gone.
" Okay! Hit me! " I say, referring to him telling me what's on his mind. But he just hits me and then laughs.
I grab his arm and take him to my void. He starts floating around in circles due to the gravity being off, I turn it on and we fall to the ground. I make a table with books on how to love on it, and a couch and whiteboard with markers appear, he sits on the couch and I shapeshift into the male version of myself, and im in a suit.
" How? What? " Donnie was saying... I think I broke him
" Uhh, dude? Are you ok? " I asked him my voice was still normal, thankfully.
Donnie doesn't respond. He's confused.
" Uhhhhh.... Rye? I think I broke him. " I say, and Rye appears next to me.
" Broke who? " Rye says, finally noticing Donnie. " U-Uh. Ican'thelpyoutheresorrybyeJanei'lltalktoyoulaterbye. " She says before teleporting away
" LILLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYY " I yell when Rye leaves me.
" What do you need mo- Mutant! " Lilly says as she teleports to me.
" Uhh, he's cool. He isn't like the others you have met, " I tell her " he just needs to uhh be fixed? I think I broke him when I changed forms and I don't know what to do " I explained to Lilly.
" Okay, so what tool do I use? " Lilly said, pulling out a hammer.
" LILLY no we are not hurting the poor turtle... unless he breaks Rye's heart " I yell before Lilly goes over to Donnie with the hammer
" Aww man, well that's a bummer, " Lilly said, throwing the hammer " Wait, what did you say about Rye? "
" Uhh. Nothing! You don't need to worry. " I say.
~Lilly's POV~
She is hiding something and I threw my good hammer before I could even use it...
" Mhm well, then how are we going to 'fix' this dude? " I ask after she lies about Rye like always.
" I don't know, maybe slap him? Wait- Rye would kill me " mom says.
" K. Then I'll slap him, " I say.
" How would that make any difference? " Mom asks me.
" Well, nothing can touch me if I don't want to, " I explain.
" Uh, who? Where? What is going on? " the purple turtle kept muttering.
" I'll just slap him to get his mind right, he will be fine, trust me. " I explain.
" Uh. You- Okay. You're just gonna- Alright. " Mom says.
And so I teleport next to the purple turtle and slap him, after that, I teleport away in my usual rainbow glitter smoke.
