chapter one- the arivial

"Dad please I dont want to leave, this is my home please!" I hear my brother plead with my father begging not to make us leave, it won't work. I already tried, I literally got down on my knees and begged not to make us go but it's no use.

We have to leave because someone wants my dad and his family dead, so yea we can't stay. "Lo'ak..." I mumble while packing all I need so we can leave tomorrow. "Lo'ak we need to go we can't stay you know that" I continue, lo'ak is my little brother, hes so stupid I take the blame for everything he does.

"Dad... I don't wanna go either I want to stay here with our people, with my mother" kiri says with tears in her eyes. I wrap my arms around her as she's right next to me "none of us want to go, we have to go" I say and my dad nods in agreement.

Kiri is my litter sister, she's just barely older than lo'ak, they are both 14, I'm 15. my parents adopted her because her biological mom died before sue was born properly. We still have no idea who her dad is. "I'm sorry kids" my dad says, pulling me and my siblings into a hug and my mother holds my other little sister tuk, who's 7 so shes only little.

"I don't wanna leave either kids this is our home but I havr to do what I havr to do to keep our family safe from danger" my dad apologies while hugging us. "We need sleep, we have a long fly tomorrow morning" my mom says and I nod "yea, get song sleep" I agree, ruffling lo'aks hair.

"Neteyam!" He laughs and fixes his hair, I laugh along with him. I walk over to my mom and take tuk out of her arms and put her down to bed, so mom can get the rest of her things ready for tomorrow. "Come on little one time for bed" I wisper, stroking tuks back witch always makes her fall straight asleep.

I set tuk down and she curls up to sleep. I smile and pull a cover over her and then walk over to whare me and lo'ak sleep and sit myself down. "I hate the fact we are leaving to lo'ak" I wipsper to him and he nods "its not fair, just because some asshole wants to kill dad shouldn't mean our whole family needs to leave our home" lo'ak says, clearly angry.

"Brother, you know we all need to go, you know mom and dad need each other and tuk needs her mum, we do to" I tell him and put my arm around his shoulder. "We will have each other little man" I tell him and he smiles and nods slightly. "Thanks neteyam" lo'ak says and smiles "no get some sleep" I reply snd we lie down to sleep.

The next morning...

"Up guys, we need to get the ikran ready" I hear my dad's bounce trying to wake me and my siblings up. I groan very groggily and shake lo'ak to wake him up. I get ready and then grab my stuff, looming around our place one final time.

"Don't worry mom I'll get tuk" I walk over snd pick her uo from her bed, she grabs my shoulder and hugs me. "I want to stay here neteyam..." tuk says quietly. "I know little one, I know, trust me none of want to go either but we will have each other, we are family, and family never leave a person behind" I say and let tuk cuddle into me. "That's right my boy" dad agrees with me and smiles.

"Ok let's go everyone" mom says and we head of and get on our ikran, obviously tuk rode with mom. "I'm sorry kids" my dad's words sadden me, it isn't his fault but I dont utter a word to him aboyt it. It takes about 5 hours to get to the reefs, but when I see people's it brings more hope to my heart.

We land and my dad holds up his hands as the leader of the reef people have spears. "We come in peace" my father says and explains our story. "Yiu can stay here, until you can find your feet again" the cheif says "no! Loom at their arms, thin they aren't even real na'vi, look at their hands. They have demon blood!" The female leader says, while holding up lo'aks hand.

My dsd holds up his own hand "look! I was born with the sky people, but I am na'vi now and my children are na'vi" he tells us. After a while they both allow us to stay. "This is my daughter tsireya, and my son aonung, tsireya will you show then whare they will stay please?" Tonowari says and tsireya nods, leading the way to their village.

"This is whare you will stay, it is big enough to fit about 8 of our people, so you will have some room" tsireya says and we go in. I look around, it's not bad "this will work" my dad says and smiles. "Thank you tsireya" I say, nudging lo'ak "yea yea thank you" she says shooting me a glare.

"Well I'll leave you here, me and my brother will be in the water when your ready, you can join us if you like" tsireya says and I nod.

"I want to go home!" Tuk says and I look down, shes only 7... "Oh tuk" Mom says and I pick tuk up, giving her a hug. "I know little ones I know, but this is our home now and you know what... we are sullys!" My dad says enthusiasticly.

"So?" I hear a grumpy toan from behind me, my brother. "And sullys stick together, say it" my dad adds and we all mumble. "Say it right" he says again "sullys stick together" we say agin, louder this time. "Good, now you 4 go and find tsireya and aonung" mom says.

I nod and pick tuk uo to carry her to the water. When we get thare we can't see the siblings "whare are they?" Kiri says confused. Just then tsireya and aonung pop up above the water "Hello, are you ready?" Aonung says, I nod in reply.

I lift tuk into the water and then me and lo'ak jump in ourselves. I make sure tuk is alright before looking uo to kiri "kiri, little sis come on" I say to her and ruffle tuks hair. "Aw neteyam, you are such a great big brother" tsireya says and I smile.

"I have to be, we dont have our own home anymore and so all we have is eachother, I'm the oldest so alot rides on me" I say and lo'ak smiles at me. "Yea, neteyam is the best brother ever!" Tuk says with a cute little smile. "Hey!" Lo'ak says and tuk laughs at him.

"You must learn to use all your air, breathe deep and then dive, like this" tsireya says and takes a deep breath and then dives under water. "Yea just as my sister said, breathe deep" Aonung says and winks at me and I smirk back.

I take a deep breath and then dive into a water, I see aonung and lo'ak and then kiri come in after me, and then tsireya and aonung race ahead and move their hands almost like they are talking to eachother. I feel like I canr breathe so I come back up for air, followed by the rest of my siblings other than kiri.

Then aonung and tsireya come up and swim to us "your to fast! Wait for us" tuk pleads and I nod "your not good divers, mabye good at swinging through trees but.." aonungs comment got him a wach to the side of the head from tsireya "what its true!" He shouts.

"We dont speak this... finger talk" I say while mimicking their finding talk. "I will teach you all" tsireya says and I smile "alright then" I reply. "We better get out now, its starting to get dark and my parents will be worried aboyt us, and it's time for tuk to go to bed" I say, poking tuk the belly.

"Yes your right neteyam" lo'ak says "wait... whares kiri?" Roxto, one of the reef people asks. "I don't know but she will know she needs to get back" I say and pick tuk up and get out of the water. I walk back to our place with tul and lo'ak "hey" I say setting tuk down "hey kids, whares kiri?" My dsd days spotting that my sister is no whare to be seen. "She wasn't with us I'm sorry I just rhoughr I should get tuk back here... sorry sir"

I apologise to my father and look down "its fine I will go look for her, can you put tuk to bed and then please go make friends with the cheifs kid ans both you be on your best behaviour... lo'ak" my dad says and I nod. "Neteyam look out for him, keep him out of trouble please kid" my dsd pleads with me and look down and nod "hes my little brother of course I will" I say in reply
