Regulus Black was having a horrible day. First, he woke up to find that he was out of his favorite tea. When he turned to his second option, coffee, he realized he hadn't bought any coffee beans in a while. So he had to settle for orange juice James gifted him a week ago because he supposedly needed more nutrients in his diet.
Then, he slipped on some ice on his way to work and gained a new bruise on his knee. His shirt was soaked from the snow. He dropped his phone, cut his palm on a flier that flew into his face and soaked his new shoes. This was all before he clocked into work.
The customers sucked, he spilled a milkshake all over his shirt and had to finish his homework when he got home. His day was thoroughly fucked. The only relief was when James and Lily showed up at his door claiming that they absolutely needed to binge Friends with him.
He took the opportunity to vent because he knew neither would mind. They never did.
"This asshole showed up in the drive thru and fucking glared at my pronouns," Regulus started, teeth clenched. "She kept looking from my name tag to me. Then she ordered three milkshakes and asked if someone else could make them. When she finally got them she fucking yelled at me because they melted. It's ice cream and it's fucking hot outside. It's not my fucking fault, especially because she refused to let me make them in the first place."
Lily was rubbing his back while James frowned. "Did you report her to your manager? I know Molly wouldn't stand for that."
"I fucking can't!" Regulus said, exasperated. "I have to make the customer happy even if they're being transphobic. It's not like I'll see them again. If I'm lucky I'll see them in an obituary later that week."
"What they think doesn't matter," Lily said. "Like you said, you usually don't see them again. All that matters is that when you come home, you know that we all love and respect you."
"But I'm so tired of this!" Regulus said, throwing his hands in the air. "I can't spend every day dealing with transphobic assholes. I just need them to- mmph-" his voice was cut off by a pair of lips on his. His eyes fluttered shut but he didn't kiss back, too surprised. When the kiss ended, he opened his eyes to see James smiling at him. "I- what?" He blinked and looked at Lily.
She giggled. "We can see how angry you're getting. You shouldn't have to be so worked up all of the time. You deserve to relax."
"But he- you- why?" He stammered. "I don't-" he was cut off again. This time by Lily's lips. He was still too shocked to reciprocate the kiss, but it felt good. Really good. She pulled away and he whined. "What are you-"
"Shh," James whispered. Regulus stared at him. "We're gonna help you calm down. You haven't had a really great day, have you? That ends now. We're gonna make you feel so good."
"What-"
Lily chuckled and pushed his shoulders down while James gently pulled his legs, which were criss-crossed, apart so he was lying down. She straddled his lap and pressed her lips to Regulus's. He kissed back this time, after a moment. She pushed her hips down onto his crotch area and he moaned into her mouth.
"Such pretty sounds," James murmured. He pushed his hand up Regulus's shirt and gently caressed his stomach. Regulus shivered. Then he carefully trailed his hand up to Regulus's chest and circled a finger around his nipple. Regulus let out a whine.
Lily pulled away and Regulus stared at them, face flushed and eyes wide. "I don't understand."
Lily rolled her eyes. "You will soon, don't worry. James, help me out."
