Secret kisses
pulled off on the side of the highway
Your fingers laced in mine
as my other hand remains on the wheel
Light brushings of hands
Results in nerves calmed
A sense of belonging
resides in a hug
The smell of home
Wrapped in a hoodie
Thoughts easy
I do not stress when you are around
A smile
That brings a brighter one to my own face
Ocean eyes
That I swear I could get lost in for years
Perhaps I look at things too sweetly
Perhaps I hold on too tightly
You mean more to me
Then I ever thought possible
If loving you means
There will be struggles
Then I will remove my rose colored glasses
And I will still hang on to you
My ocean eyed, goofy
Unforgettable, Imperfectly perfect
Love
There is a beauty to you that you do not see
These things you call imperfections
That I call adorable
We are not married.
Who knows if we will be.
But I will be here for better or for worse
With my rose colored glasses
resting atop my head
As I wait for the storm to pass,
Reaching for your hand
