Prologue

Imagine living in a world that was grey, it would make a lot of things harder right? 

How would you know when to stop and go at traffic lights?

Life in a world where you can't see colour is tough.

I bet you're wondering why I see the world as grey right? Well my curious friend, I have not met my soulmate yet.

That's right! Here you can't see colour until you meet your soulmate but we don't always get with our soulmate so we live in this dull grey world with someone who will pass the time till we eventually pass on to another life.

My life isn't all dull though, I have an amazing family who love me a lot. There's my father Ray and my mother Dottie, they have helped me through hard times and promise me one day I will find my soulmate. Then there's my sister, Love, I know unique name right? I was almost named Forty but they decided on Y/N. 

Love met her soulmate Joe when I was dating my ex-girlfriend Candace, she wasn't my soulmate and part of me thinks she was afraid of Joe, no idea why though. 

Love has always supported me through my life, she helped me more than my parents. She helped me become an actor which I love doing.

I also have my amazing best friend, Scarlett Johansson. Yes, the black widow actress. We've been friends since we were 7. She never turns her back on me and is always there for me no matter what. 

She also met her soulmate, Colin and they have a son and a daughter, Rose and Cosmo. I would've picked Wanda and Cosmo like the Fairly OddParents but whenever I bring it up she smacks me so yeah not doing that again.

Scarlett introduced me to her friends from Marvel. I would have loved to meet Elizabeth Olsen but she was shot by her ex-boyfriend Boyd when on a date with actor Y/N Holmes. Scarlett brought me to the funeral and it took a long time to comfort her. 

Scarlett hasn't introduced me to anyone from her movie Black Widow yet, she is going to do that at this party she is having for New Years. 

It's hard being thirty and the only one in your friend group and family who hasn't found their soulmate.

Chris Evans always loves to make fun of me for it but I know he is just joking so I never take it to heart. 

He is the one who will be taking me to Scarlett's house for the party in a few days since I can't drive because everything is grey. 

I don't usually go to her cast gatherings or special events but I have a good feeling about this one. 

Something is telling me that this one will be different, that something good is about to happen.
