In a world where you can't see colour till you meet your soulmate, Y/N finds himself 30 and still not able to see colour while his whole family can. However that all changes when he leaves his childhood friend's party to get fresh air
The food comes out and everyone starts eating. Y/N takes a fry off Florence's plate making her look at him as he smirks.
"Why you taking my food?"
"Because I only got this gross green stuff."
"Yeah it looks gross, what are the orange bits?"
"No clue."
They start laughing together while Zach looks at Florence.
"Since when do you see colour?"
Everyone looks at Florence as her eyes widen. Scarlett looks at Y/N as he looks sadly at Florence. She hadn't told Zach she can see colour now because then he would know she met her soulmate.
"Um since Scarlett's new years party."
"Who's your soulmate?"
"Y/N...."
"Him?"
Zach points at Y/N as Florence nods.
"I can't deal with this right now I need air."
"Zach!"
Zach gets up walking outside with Florence following him. Scarlett looks at Y/N.
"You okay sweetie?"
"She never told him."
"It's a hard thing to tell your boyfriend."
"Do you think she's disappointed I'm her soulmate and not him?"
"I don't know sweetie."
Y/N looks down as Scarlett gets out of her seat pulling his head to her stomach playing with his hair and rubbing his back.

Meanwhile Florence catches up to Zach.
"When were you going to tell me he's your soulmate?"
"I don't know. It's all confusing."
"Do you love him?"
"No, I love you."
"Are you willing to throw away your soulmate for me?"
"Yes, not like anything bad will happen."
Zach smiles pulling Florence in by her hips kissing her softly which she returns wrapping her arms around his neck. They head back inside hand in hand, sitting back in their seats.
"Well?" Scarlett asks looking between her two friends and Zach.
"I love Zach and I want to be with him. I'm sorry Y/N, I know we're soulmates but I don't feel the way I do about Zach for you."
"That's okay, I understand."
The rest of the meal is in silence until Zach gets up to go toilet.
