"Dear Eddie

It's been almost a month now since you left and it's tearing my heart out. I miss your clumsiness, I miss your sparkling eyes after a game of DnD.

I wish I'd had the courage to tell you earlier how I really feel but as so often happens I didn't have the strength and now it's too late. Why is it so hard to admit to someone you care about that you love them?

Maybe because I was afraid that it would change our relationship. It's stupid I know, but you're the only person I don't feel judged by, I was myself, and for that I can't thank you enough Eddie.

I love you my Eddie,

Your (Y/n)"

After finally getting up the courage to read this letter in front of the Lovers' Lake. A wave of tears rolled down (Y/N)'s cheeks. She had been feeling oppressed for days. She had decided to free herself from this pain. Everything was quiet, the weather was cold and icy, then she felt a presence behind her.

"You're going to catch a cold (y/n)," said a voice with concern.

When she turned around, a wave of tears flowed even more. She wasn't dreaming, Eddie Munson was right in front of her, in the flesh.

"She felt Eddie hug her protectively. Then she realised that he was unnaturally cold.

"What happened to you?" she asked him with a touch of panic in her voice.

Eddie played with (y/n)'s long hair. Then he looked at her, not feeling reassured.

"I turned into an vampire"Eddie answered softly

She didn't push him away, she looked at him for a few minutes and then, without knowing what came over her, she put her lips on his. Eddie responded to the kiss with passion and then, feeling the rain starting to fall, his wings grew to protect (y/n) and fly her home...
