The girl groaned, slowly sitting up after her deep slumber. Memories from yesterday came flooding back, and her cheeks dusted a light pink.

She groggily wiped her eyes, before falling back and staring up at her ceiling.

She smiled to herself, looking up at the gorgeous stars she had hung the day prior. To her stars were more than balls of burning fire. They were pieces of art scattered across the night sky, to illuminate the darkness.

She could talk about stars for ages.

Swinging her legs over her bed, Rory grabbed the floral patterned dress and purple bikini she layed out the night prior. She hummed, padding her way to the bathroom. As she slipped of her pajamas she stared at her body. She hated the vulnerability that came when she was naked. As she watched her reflection a tear rolled down her cheek, reaching the corner of her mouth. The salty taste reminded her of the ocean. Crying was like a tsunami of hurt. She quickly wiped the tear. The truth was Lorelai Porter hated the thought of showing emotion.

She bottled up her emotion and threw on the purple bikini and sundress. Staring at the side cuts in her dress she sighed. Attempting to push her stomach fat closer together, more tears fell from her eyes.

"Fuck." She mumbled, grabbing a wash cloth and wiping her mascara off. She reached for the waterproof bottle, figuring it would be better for surfing.

More than she hated showing emotion, Rory absolutely despised her mascara running.

Grabbing a towel and sandals, she made her way down the spiral flight of stairs. Slowly placing her bare feet, one after another trying to be as silent as possible. Once down the steps she glided towards the sliding door, opening it only a crack before slipping out.

Once the door slid shut, she dashed across the sand to her second home, the boneyard.

Since the girl made her move to Kildare, she fell completely in love with the sight of the beach. Especially under the stars.

What the brunette didn't know, was a special blond pouge was sitting by the water, breathing in the salty air the ocean produced.

She stopped running when she spotted a mob of messy blond hair, her heart stopped as she walked closer and realized it was the boy who's face had been haunting her for the past day.

She stopped walking when she was only a foot away.

"Hi." Was all she had to say for him to whip his head around in her direction. He stared at her, awestruck, he stayed still for a bit just simply blinking at her.

JJ Maybank was lost. He had no expectation on seeing the girl who randomly made out with him so soon. She stared at him, bouncing on the balls of her feet awkwardly.

"Is this seat taken?" She smiled, gesturing to the ground next to him. Still wide-eyed, JJ simply nodded.

She quickly took a seat on the sand, hugging her legs to her chest. "I'm sorry."

His eyes widened further, he could only make out one word that made sense to him.

"Why?"

She chuckled softly to herself, making JJ's cheeks flush a rosey pink. She smiled at him. For the next few minutes they sat there in silence, Rory opened her mouth a few times to say something but each time she stopped herself.

"Because I kissed you." She finally voiced. It was her turn for her cheeks to flush a foreign color. She stared at the blond boy, during this she realized how handsome this boy really was. JJ smiled at the memory of her crashing their lips together in a passionate kiss.
