"People of King's Landing... today is the saddest of days." Otto announced. ''Our beloved king... Viserys the Peaceful... is dead. Prince Aegon... as well." There was a murmuring of sad woes. ''But it is also the most joyous of days... for as his spirit left us... he whispered his final wish: that his second born son, Aemond... should succeed him." Otto declared and there was but a moment of silence before the crowd agreed and an applause broke out for their new king.

"Guards!" the commander shouted. ''Out of the way! Move!'' They were getting into position for their new king to march down the aisle. They marched down the people parted and the rose their blade high for Aemond to pass under.

"Halt! Turn!'' The horns blared out. ''Present... arms!''

"It is your great good fortune and privilege to be here to witness this: a new day for our city... a new day for our realm. A new king... to lead us." Otto declared as Aemond marched through. As he passed the swords fell after him. Each step closer to something he always wanted but never thought he would get. Beka smiled back at him from the stage. He looked the part of a king.

''May the Warrior give him courage. May the Smith lend strength to his sword and shield. May the Father defend him in his need." Septon Eustace began. ''May the Crone lift her shining lamp and light his way to wisdom." Criston stepped forward the crown in hand

"The crown of the Conqueror, passed down through generations." Criston spoke as Aemond knelt, he looked to Beka. She was already his queen, now he was glad that the world would see it too. ''Let the Seven bear witness: Aemond Targaryen is the true heir to the Iron Throne." Criston announced putting the crown on Aemond's head. He rose up and looked to his family. They bowed and curtsied to him, he looked to Alicent and Helaena but he reached out for Beka. She stepped towards him.

''All hail His Grace, Aemond, first of his Name, King of the Andals and the Rhoynar and-" The doors pushed open and everyone turned who would dare interrupt this moment? Beka's eyes went wide, what the literal hell was happening?

"Your grace," the people echoed falling to their knees as Viserys walked forward.

"Whats the meaning of this?" Viserys demanded he walked tall and strong without a cane without help. He felt great a new spring in his step as well.

"M-my k-king?" Alicent stammered thinking she was seeing a ghost.

"Oh fuck." Beka muttered as Viserys got closer. She saw him lick the blood from his teeth. It had taken longer the transformation because he was so sick, the healing of his body when he came back. "Oh fuck, oh... fuck."

"You are usurping the crown!'' Viserys shouted.

Aemond was so close to getting everything he wanted. Beka to wed and a crown. She would be his queen. But Viserys stood tall, a darkness in his eyes.

"I don't understand." Aemond whispered moving to Beka.

"Hes a vampire." Beka rasped.

"What?" Aemond questioned looking to viserys and it made sense. "You turned him?"

"Not on purpose." beka rasped

''You were going to turn me. Did you get us confused?" Aemond asked touching her cheek.

"I gave him his tea... my blood my... my blood must have been in his system, a drop in the tea is all it would take. Just a drop... I never, Aemond I didnt... I want you forever." Beka remarked "forever and always. Im sorry I didn't mean this. I didn't mean for this to happen." Viserys marched up the steps venom in his gaze. She knew there would be hell to pay.

''Long live the king. Long live the king."

Long Live... That was certainly an understatement.
