Viserys was getting his daily treatments as per usual when Otto came in to check on the kings status. Birds were chirping in the early morning sunlight.
"I want to have supper, Otto." Viserys remarked.
'It is the morning, Your Grace.'' Otto said gently
''Tonight. The whole of my family... are gathered at the Red Keep. I want us...'' Viserys struggled to keep his breath. ''to dine together.'' He groaned as he moved, the pain to much.
''Bring milk of the poppy.'' Otto instructed.
''No. Just arrange the supper.'' Viserys murmured.
"You asked for me your grace?" Beka questioned she had been picking nervously at her cuticle all morning, it would bleed and then stop, healing itself quickly. SHe was anxious to see Daemon. Or rather to not see him. She didnt want it to be like this, she was just... hoping... wishing maybe that she never had to confront him again. Which made her feel awful. But maybe he was happy with his new bride. Maybe he moved on. Maybe he would be happy to see her and say wow, Aemond... she was fucked. She stabbed her nail into her finger coating it in a thin layer of blood. She hissed back her emotions as she moved forward.
"Aemonds girl." Viserys breathed out.
"Beka." She agreed.
"Thank you... for looking out for him." Viserys rasped.
"I love him."
"He asked for my blessing..." Viserys remarked. "To..." He started coughing, coking and he pointed out for his tea.
"This?" Beka questioned he nodded. She stumbled slightly, feeling very off in the kings rooms. It felt like death in here and considering she died, that was saying something. She felt the steam touch her fingers as she handed it over.
"Thank..." Viserys began as he coughed again, drinking down his tea.
"I will let you rest your grace." Beka remarked softly before heading out.

"I dont think I should be in there." Beka remarked.
"You are family, you are going to be my wife." Aemond corrected.
"Daemon is here. He doesnt know... I'm... alive." Beka offered. "I dont think in a room full of people is the best for him to see me after all this time." Beka offered.
"Of course, I understand." Aemond agreed. He pulled his cloak off, tying it around her. "In case you changed your mind." Aemond offered pulling up the hood. "I always like you by my side." She kissed his cheek as he headed in.
''Though it is the great hope of this court that Lord Corlys Velaryon survive his wounds, we gather here with the grim task of dealing with the succession of Driftmark. As Hand, I speak with the King's voice on this and all other matters.'' Otto remarked sitting proudly on the throne. "The crown will now hear the petitions. Ser Vaemond of House Velaryon." He decreed
''My Queen. My Lord Hand.'' Vaemond said setting forward. ''The history of our noble houses extends beyond the Seven Kingdoms to the days of Old Valyria. For as long as House Targaryen has ruled the skies, House Velaryon has ruled the seas. When the Doom fell on Valyria, our houses became the last of their kind. Our forebearers came to this new land, knowing that were they to fail, it would mean the end to their bloodlines and their name." Rhaenys held back the groan as she hated having to defend her claim, her grandchildrens claim against Vaemond.
"What are they saying?" Davina questioned, knowing Beka's i'm listening to others conversation face.
"Vaemond is blabbing." Beka offered as she took a glass from Davina.
