Chapter 25

Dina's POV: Our little day at the beach was successful! Drew was able to teach me how to surf, kind of. I fell off way too many times for anyone to keep track of. I did ride a few waves though, so I felt accomplished, and Drew felt like the best teacher ever:) We were all hanging out on the sand when Wes scooped up Becca and threw her in the water; as pissed off as she was, it was funny as hell for the rest of us! She came back laughing, and looking like she was planning to get back at Wes; I can only imagine what she is going to do! A few minutes later, Keaton's phone was going off because he gotten a text from the one and only mama Stromberg! "Hey guys my mom said dinner is at our house tonight! Oh and apparently Drew, your parents are going to be there too!" Keaton explained. Drew told me he hadn't seen his parents in a while because of recording, concerts, and stuff like that. While Drew was super happy, I was getting a little nervous. I had never gotten to the stage of meeting the parents before, and I hate it when people don't like me. I don't mean that in a way that everyone should automatically love me; I mean that like I just want people to accept me for me, especially people as important as Drew's parents.

We had gotten back to the beach and I was the first one in the shower. I knew I wanted to curl my hair, and that alone takes almost an hour, and drying it takes another 20 minutes. I showered as fast as I could, and once I was done I dried my hair and put on my makeup. Once that was done, I slipped on my peach colored chiffon summer dress from Charlotte Russe. I had a feeling we would be eating good tonight, so I didn't want a food baby to show; so this dress is kind of perfect. After almost an hour later I was done with my hair, slipped on my shoes and was ready to go; of course I was the last one and we were all waiting on me, lol:P We all hopped in the car and were on our way to Wes and Keaton's house. I was excited but nervous for this dinner, and of course I was hungry, but for me that's a feeling that never goes away. I was really deep in my thoughts when Drew brought me back to reality. "Hey you ok?" He asked me. "Yeah I'm fine, I guess I'm just a little nervous." I responded. "Nervous? Why are you nervous??" "I don't know, I just want your parents to like me I guess." "Awww come here!" He brought me into a hug and kissed my temple. "They are going to love you! Don't stress about it ok?" He said. That made me calm down a bit, that is until we pulled up to the house! The nerves came back but I did my best to hide them, and I did a pretty damn good job of it!

We all made our way inside and Wes and Keaton's mom made her way out from the kitchen and all 3 boys attacked her in hugs. It was the cutest/most adorable thing I've seen out of them since I've met them. Wes introduced Becca to mama Stromberg and she loved her! Almost out of nowhere Drew's mom and dad over to him and I. Oh shit, this is it, don't fuck this up! "Mom, Dad, this is Dina, my girlfriend:) Dina, this is my mom and dad." "It's very nice to meet the both of you:)" I said smiling as I held out my hand for them to shake. "It's very nice to meet you too sweetie!" Said Drew's mom. What a relief! "Drew, you picked a good one from the looks of it." Said Drew's dad. Alright this was going way better than I expected! We all sat around and of course the necessary interrogation of getting to know me as a person happened. After a while I went into the kitchen to ask Laraine if she needed any help, as did Becca. She said no but we both insisted. The timer went of for the food in the oven, and that was all we were waiting on; Laraine ended up making a lot of food, which meant we'd be feasting! She made italian food, and I love Italian food! Dinner was another opportunity for everyone to get to know each other; we all laughed and joked and at one point, Wes started to get way too sassy, so I sassed him to get him to shut up for 5 minutes, and everyone was thoroughly entertained by it, especially mama Stromberg! After dinner we cleaned up and hung out in the living room for a little while, the boys even sang a few songs for us! A few hours later we all left; it was a pretty fun evening with the Strombergs and Chadwicks. And Drew ended up telling me later that he was right and his parents truly liked me. That was like the icing on the cake! I was super happy! We all got back to the hotel and just hung out and watched movies for a while. I wonder what we're doing tomorrow. We've done so much already that we are seriously going to run out of things to do.
