Chapter 36-Tahoe pt.1

It's july 3rd, whoop we're going to tahoe today with the boys! I'm so stoked! I finish my last minute packing and throw my straightener and makeup bag into my Roxy suite case. I grab my phone charger and sunglasses and throw it into my billabong backpack. I take my stuff downstairs and into my moms car. My mom is coming too but hanging with our family friend who also has a house in tahoe, while us teenagers go off and explore tahoe. Her bags are already in the car. I hop in the passenger seat and we drive to dina's house. I get out and ring the doorbell. Her mom talks to my mom while I help dina with her luggage. She throws her suite case in the trunk and says goodbye to her mom. She hops in the backseat and we make our way to San Jose airport. We arrive at the airport 20 minutes later and I text wesley "Im here, see you soon babe". A couple minutes later I see two surfer guys with backpacks, skateboards and duffles. Yepp that's defientely them. I get out of the front seat and wesley sees me and smiles. He drops his duffle and hugs me. "I've missed you" he whispers in my ear. "Me too" I whisper back. I see dina with drew. We walk over to my moms car and put there stuff in the trunk. I go in the back back seats and wes sits in the other seat. Dina and drew are in the 2nd row. My mom asks drew and wes about there flights, and how LA was with dina and I etc. My mom really likes wesley and drew so she was pretty social. We make our way out of San Jose and on our way to Tahoe! I cuddle up next to wesley and I feel myself nodding off. I drift off to sleep. I hear wesley whispering in my ear, "babe wake up, we're getting food" I slowly open my eyes and get off of wesley. "how long was I out for?" I ask him. "2 hours" he responds "sorry, you could have pushed me off" I respond. "Never" he responds back. Drew and dina get out of the car and wesley follows. He grabs my hand and I make my way out of the car. We stretch and than make our way to togo's. We all order sandwiches, chips and drinks. My mom picks up the tab and we get back in the car. It's about 2'oclock and we still have 2 hours to go. We hop back in the car and continue our journey to beautiful tahoe. The rest of the 2 hour drive, I go on Instagram, and snapchat people back, and talk with dina and drew. We finally arrived in tahoe and make our way to alpine meadows area where my family friends cabin is. We get out of the car and I can tell the guys are in heaven. I mean it's tahoe, it could be heaven. We unload our bags and my mom gets the key and unlocks the cabin. My mom told us that us girls are a room with two twin beds and the each guy has a separate room. There are 4 rooms, and a loft. The guys go to their rooms and us girls put our bags away in our room.  My mom is upstairs in the master room, which is right next to the loft. We put our bags down and I show the guys the cabin. I show them the surrounding area and we go down to a little pond with a beach and has wooden rafts with sticks to push off the bottom for residents to use and there are big rocks in the pond and a little island. Drew goes on a raft that was by the shore. Dina goes on it too. Wesley grabs another raft. "babe come on" he yells. "Wes I don't want you to tip me" I yell back. "I won't, promise" he says. I walk over and he extends his hand. I grab it and he pushes off the bottom of the pond and we glide on the water. He takes me around and he begins to rock it. "Wes don't" "why do you have your phone on you?" he asks and smirks. "No, do you?" I respond back. "nope" he says. He picks me up. "Wes no!" I yelled. He jumps in with me in his arms. I come up for air. "Wes I'm gonna kill you!" I yell slightly joking yet mad as I swim over to the raft and hop on. "Cmon babe it's all for fun" he responds and winks at me. He swims over and climbs up onto the raft. He takes us back to shore. He takes off his shirt and he gives me a piggyback back to the house. Drew and dina follow us back. I get in the cabin and my mom makes a joke at wesley knowing that I wouldn't go into the water alone. I make my way to my room to grab a pair of clothes to change into. I rummage through my suitecase and I hear a knock on the door. "come in" I yell. I see wesley in the door way. "Babe you're not mad are you?" he asks with worry in his voice. "Nope" I respond and smile at him. "Good" he responds. I make my way past him to the bathroom to take a quick shower to get the gross pond water off of me. 20 minutes later I get out of the shower. I quickly brush my hair and throw on some shorts and a hoodie. I come out and see wesley in the kitchen helping my mom. Wesley must have showered too because his hair was wet and he was in jeans and a white volcom tshirt. Wesley see's me and smiles. "wes what are you doing?" I ask him and smile. "I'm cutting tomatoes, I asked your mom if she needs help" he responds and holds up his knife. "His mom taught him well" my mom chimes in. "Good, now you can make me food" I hint at wesley. "Anytime" he responds back and winks. I quickly manage to get wesley out of the kitchen and we sit down on the couch. "Where's dina and drew?" I ask. "they went down to the pond" he responds back. I grab the remote and turn on the TV. I flick through the channels but nothings on. "Want to go for a walk?" he asks me. "yeah" I respond back. "dinner's in 30 minutes" my mom tells us. "I have my phone with me if we're not back by than" wes tells my mom. She nods her head. We make our way out the front door and I begin to tell wesley the history and stories I have of tahoe, the memories, traditions, etc. He seem's really excited to be up here with me. I show my my family friend's house and they're coming up tomorrow. We make a circle and pass by drew and dina in the sand just talking. I see wes take out his phone and it's been 30 minutes. We tell dina and drew it's dinner and they follow us. We walk back to the cabin and open the back sliding door. My mom has set the table and put pasta, salad and garlic bread in bowls for us to serve ourselves. We serve ourselves and make our way to the table. We talk about tahoe and what we are planning to do: go to the lake, river rafting, squaw valley, and sunnyside restaurant. We decide to go to the lake tomorrow. We quickly finish eating and put away the dishes in the sink. My mom suggests we go star gazing because the stars are beautiful in tahoe since it's super dark. Dina and I change into pants and grab some blankets while drew and wes grab jackets. I grab my moms car keys and we make our way to the car. I start the engine and make our way to the actual alpine meadows ski resort about 5 minutes away. We park the car in the parking lot and get out. We lay two blankets on the cement and one over us. I cuddle into wesley since it's like 60° out. We wait about 5 minutes and we see a shooting star. "Make a wish" wesley whispers in my ear. "I don't need too, my wish came true" I whisper back. "oh and what might that be?" he whispers and looks at me. "To have you in my life" I whisper back and look at him. He leans in and I close my eyes. I feel his soft lips on mine and I quickly kiss back. We stay out for about 10 minutes longer. "I'm cold" I whisper to wesley. "I'm cold too" wesley whispers back. "Want to go back?" I ask him. "yeah" he responds back. He stands up and pulls me up with him. Drew and dina stand up too. We grab the blankets and head back in the car. I turn the car on and drive back to the cabin. We arrive at the cabin and get out quickly. I hate tahoe at night, the bears, bugs, i don't know I've just always been scared of it. Dina and I go to our room and change into PJ's. I put on a hoodie and yoga pants and dina puts on yoga pants and an emblem3 shirt. I quickly wash my face and brush my teeth. While dina washes her face I go upstairs, my mom is already sleep and It's only 10 pm. Figures, she falls asleep early. I go downstairs and go plop myself on the couch next to wesley. I cuddle into his chest and he's playing with my hair. I grab the remote and turn on the tv. We scan through the news, Teen Mom, Strange Addictions, etc and finally we settle on some cheesy lifetime movie. There's only an hour left but it's not hard to understand what has happened. We watch the end of the movie and dina is asleep on drews chest. Drew carries dina to our room and sets her down on her bed. She wakes up and gets under the covers and thanks drew. I say goodnight to wesley and give him a quick kiss. "I'm excited for tomorrow, the lake and fourth of july spending it with my girlfriend" he says quietly. "Me too, fourth of july isn't ever fun, but now I have the best boyfriend to spend it with" I respond back and smile. He pulls me into a tight hug. "love you" I whisper. "love you too" he whispers back. I go into my room and turn off the light. I fall asleep fast.
