Chapter 36-Tahoe pt 2

Becca's POV:


I wake up to pots and pans clinking around in the kitchen. I look over at the clock on my nightstand it was 10 am. I see dina is up and playing on her phone. I grab my phone and quickly respond to texts and don't even bother snapchatting people back. I get up and go to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I quickly do my makeup and make my way back to our room. I go to my suitcase and pull out an american flag bikini I specifically bought for fourth of july. I quickly change and throw on some denim shorts and a white brotank from forever 21. My hair is wavy from letting it air dry. I hate my hair up, but I throw it in a ponytail for the time being. Dina puts on a coral bikini and some white shorts and a  coral tank top. I make my way to wes's room while dina washes her face and finishes getting ready for the day. I knock on the door and I hear him getting up from bed. He walks over to the door and a second later I see him half asleep. "Well aren't you a morning person" wesley says. "I am in tahoe" I respond back and smile. He smiles back. I see drew come out of his room in black board shorts and a white bro tank. "Morning" he says to wes and I. "Morning drew" I respond back. "C'mon wes, get dressed, I mean the faster you get dressed, the faster we can go to the lake" I tell him. "Or the faster I can see you in a bikini" he says and bits his lip. I roll my eyes and walk towards the kitchen. I see drew and dina in the kitchen alongside my mom. My mom is making eggs and dina is buttering toast. "Becca we need to go to the store today, the stuff we brought up in the coolers won't last us much longer" dina tells me. "yeah sounds good, it's on the way home anyway" I respond back. A couple minutes later wesley appears in red board shorts and a black bro tank and a black snapback. My mom tells us breakfast is ready. Dina gets us plates and we serve ourselves. “mom what are you going to do today?” I ask her. “Virginia is coming up today around 4ish, so I’ll be with her and than thinking of all going to the lake for fireworks, also your dad called and wants to see you.” She tells me. “okay I’ll call him later” I respond back. We finish eating and I grab my moms car keys and go to my room. I empty my billabong backpack and put a towel, 8 and 15 sunscreen, sunglasses, phone, and wallet. I slip on some roxy flip flops and grab a jacket. I head towards the car and I feel two hands on my waist. “can we wait like 5 seconds, I forgot to give you something” Wesley whispers in my ears and it sends goosebumps down my arms. He notices and chuckles and kisses my cheek from behind. I smile and get out of his grip. Dina and drew come up the stairs and we all make our way to lake. “shotgun” wes yells. I laugh at him and he hops in the front seat. I start the ignition and we make our way to the lake. About 20 minutes later we’re at the lake. It’s packed! We find parking along the street and I get out and grab my backpack. I lock the car and put the key in my front zipper. Wesley grabs my hand and we check for cars. We run across the road and make our way to the beach and lake. We find a open beach area and put our stuff down. I take my towel out of my bag and lay it down. I take off my shorts and tank top and Wesley scans my body. “Nice swimsuit” he says to me. “Thanks” I respond back and smile at him. He takes off his shirt and all of a sudden I feel two hands pick me up. “Wes, no I’m serious the water is freezing” I yell at him. He carries me down to the water and stops at knee length and puts me down. “you’re such a dick” I tell him and splash water at him and laugh. I walk out of the water and walk back to my towel. I can feel guys staring at me. Eh I’d rather not with Wesley here. I look back at him and he’s out to the booies. I know I’m not being fun, so I decide to go back in the water. Wes notices and swims over to me. “Wes don’t take me out deep, I’ve had a bad experience in tahoe” I tell him. “that’s fine babe, we will only go to where you can stand” he tells me. “thanks babe” I say and kiss him lightly. I pull away but he doesn’t. I smile and stop kissing him. “Not at a public beach wes” I whisper to him. “you’re no fun” wes whispers to me. “I know” I respond back and smirk. We swim for a bit and than decide to go back on shore. I get out of the water and Wesley follows. I can feel girls eyes staring at him and his abs. I roll my eyes and reach back for his hand. Yeah I’m that girl haha. He intertwines his hand with mine. I lay down on my towel and Wesley lays on his. We tan and just talk for a couple hours until the sun was starting to set. We decide to pack up our stuff and we make our way back to the car. I noticed I got tanner, thank God! I put the key in the ignition and make a quick couple point turn and head back to the town. We stop at safeway on the way back to the cabin. Drew grabs a shopping cart and we make our way down the ailes. We get eggs, milk, juice, bread, soda, chips, veggies, pretzels, meat, pasta, fruit, etc. About $100 later, we’re off the cabin to get ready for a fun night ahead. About 10 minutes later we arrive at the cabin. The guys carries in the groceries and my mom opens the door. Dina and I help with the groceries but leave our towels in the car. My mom, dina and I unload the groceries while the guys shower. About 10 minutes later of unloading the groceries we go to our room to find an outfit for tonight. I choose dark rinse skinny jeans, white fake toms, and a navy blue tank top. Dina chooses a white skinny jeans and a red flowey tank top. I feel cold big hands on my stomach. “Shit wes” I yell half scared to death. He chuckles. His hair is wet and he’s in dark skinny jeans and a navy blue shirt. “you look cute” I whisper to him. He bits his lip, “thanks babe” he whispers back. “I’m going to go help your mom with dinner while you get ready” he tells me. He walks out and I make my way to the bathroom to quickly shower I got out about 10 minutes later and quickly put on my outfit for fireworks. I throw my hair in a towel twist thing and open the door to grab my makeup bag. I see wes talking to my mom about cooking, etc. I mean he really is the perfect boyfriend. I make my way to my room and sit down on the floor in front of the big mirrior. I begin my makeup process, moisturizer, concealer, foundation, powder, blush and eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and lipbalm and lipstick. I finish my makeup and dina comes in in her outfit. “I really want your jeans, where are they from?” I ask her. “Macys!” she responds back and smiles. I hear a knock at the already open door. I look up and Wesley is standing there. “hey what’s up?” I ask him. “nothing just wanted to see how my beautiful girlfriend looked.” he responds. I smile at him. Dina sits down next to me and begins her makeup process. I stand up and put my makeup bag on my bed and walk to the kitchen. “when’s dinner?” I ask her. “I was thinking of going out to sunnyside” she responds back. “wanna go down to the pond?” wes asks me. “yeah” I reply back. We make our way down to the pond and we just talk about tahoe and I tell him my near drowning experience at the lake. We talk for a bit and realize we probably should head back soon. We get back to the house and dina and drew were just going to come down to get us. We get inside the cabin and I go grab a jacket and my purse. Dina grabs her purse and the guys grab their phones, jackets and wallets. My family friend Virginia(who has a house in tahoe also if you forgot in the beginning) comes with us. I introduce her to dina and wes and drew. We all hop in the car and my mom drives us to a restaurant called Sunnyside. It has every type of food, burgers, salads, amazing fried zuchinni, etc. We get to the restaurant about 30 minutes later. We get a table outside and it’s right next to the lake. We order our food and enjoy a nice dinner before the fun of fireworks tonight. We eat for about an hour and the guys tell Virginia all about their band etc. She seemed really intrigued by them. She talks to dina about her plans for college etc. We finish dinner and the guys and dina try to pick up their bill but my mom wouldn’t budge. My mom picks up the tab and we make our way back in the car to drive to a closer spot to watch fireworks. We go to south shore and there are tons of people on the beach. We park our car and grab blankets and make our way to the beach. We sit down on the beach and the fireworks begin. Wesley scoots closer to me and puts his arm around me. There were red ones, blue ones, green ones, smiley face ones and heart ones. Once it was over my mom tells me  that her and Virginia are going to go get the car. I stand up and I see this kind of cute guy staring at me. I lightly smile back but try not too since I’m with Wesley. I go to walk towards wesley drew and dina who were not waiting on the lawn area and I feel a hand grab my wrist. I turn around and the guy is there. “Hey girl, you’re pretty cute, want to get out of here?” he asks me and creepily smiles. “No” I say and turn around to walk to Wesley. He grabs my hand again. “C’mon sexy, come with my friends and I we’re having a bbq” he says and grips harder. “No, I’m taken let go of me” I say loudly. He steps closer to me and puts his hands on my waist. All of a sudden I see Wesley pushing him off. “dude bro calm down” he tells Wesley. “Don’t touch my girlfriend” Wesley yells at him. Now people are starting to stare. I grab Wesley and try to pull him back to dina and drew. He yanks out of my grip. “See, I could treat you better” the guy says to me. “No you can’t” Wesley tells him. “Want to go brah?” he tells Wesley and swings at Wesley. Shit. Wesley swings back and hits the guy in the face. The guy swings back and hits Wesley in the nose. Drew comes over and grabs Wesley. “You’re a little shit, go to hell” Wesley yells at him. He flips Wesley off and his friends hold him back. Drew grabs Wesley and drags him with him towards the car.
