Chapter 38-What to do

Becca's POV:

I wake up with my mind racing with the events that happened last night. I mean I love wesley but he didn't have to fight back. I check my phone and it's about 10 am. I quietly get up because dina is still asleep. I see my mom in the kitchen and we talk a bit. She's not thrilled about wesley but she does understand he was trying to protect me. I hear footsteps and look up and see wesley in basketball shorts and a gray t shirt. "Morning babe" I tell him and go over and give him a hug. He kind of hugs back. I give him a funny look. I go over to the couch, grab a blanket and go out on the back porch. Wesley joins me. "what was that about?" I ask him with a hurt look. "I'm sorry for last night, for not being there for you, and for not being the bigger man. That douche just got to me, I don't want to see you hurt or scared ever" he says and looks at me. "Wes I know, it's not your fault" I look at him and respond back and scoot closer to him. "I still think we should get your nose checked out" I whisper to him. "If it makes you stop being a worry wart than fine" he whispers back and kisses my cheek. I get up from the bench and wrap the blanket tighter around me and head back in the house to get ready to take wesley to a near by little doctors office. I quickly change into shorts and a sweater and do my makeup in 5 minutes. I brush my teeth and throw my hair is a side braid. I put on some perfume and slip on some abercrombie flip flops. I grab my purse, phone, and wallet. Wesley changes and comes out in skinny jeans and a blue and white bro tank and a white snapback. I grab a banana and wesley grabs a mug with cereal in it to eat on the way. I hop in the car and wesleys in the passenger seat. I start the engine and head towards the doctors. About 20 minutes later we arrive. I park the car and get out. Wesley gets out and I lock the car. He reaches for my hands and gives it a little squeeze. He opens the door for me and I walk in. He follows and we go to the reception desk and tell them the story and pay the fee. We wait about 10 minutes and wesley is called in. The doctor examines his nose since wes said it hurt. He tells wesley that he bruised a bone in the nose. The doctor tells wesley to ice it a bit and take advil for pain. We thank the doctor and head out to the car. I unlock the door and wes and I get in at the same time. "Thanks for taking me babe, I love you" he says and looks at me. I smile at him, "I love you too, but let's not get you anymore hurt" I said to him. "deal" he replies back. I turn on the car and hit reverse and back out of the parking lot. I go on the main road and wes turns on the radio. "babe where's your phone?" he asks me. "In my purse" I reply back. He goes into my purse and takes out my phone. He notices i have a text message from my mom and dina. "you can read it, you know my lock code go ahead" I tell him reassuringly. He nods and reads the messages to me. Wes tell dina if her and drew want to meet us at river ranch, they have burgers, salads etc they can. "okay" he responds and types out the message. Wesley puts my phone in the ipod jack and goes to my music. I hear the opening of chloe playing. Why am I not surprised? I sing along and wesley looks at me and sings to me. I secretly fan girl inside. I hear my phone vibrate and it's dina. Wes unlocks the screen and tells me they want to come. We pass by river ranch and head up to the house to grab drew and Dina. 10 minutes later we arrive. I put the car in park and turn off the engine. We get out and we go inside the house. We grab Dina and drew and I ask my mom if she wants to come with us. She declines since she's going to the pond today with Virginia. Us kids make our way out of the house and towards the car. Wes gets shot gun and we make our way towards river ranch. About 10 minutes later we arrive. I quickly find a parking spot and we all get out. It's crowded since it's noon and summer. We walk to the outside patio since it's super pretty out. I find a table by the river and I sit down. "Babe what do you want?" Wes asks me. "Cheeseburger and fries please" I respond. "Drink?" he asks. "yepp" I respond. "Thank you" I say to him and smile. "Welcome" he says back and goes with drew to stand in line. About 15 minutes later wes and drew comes back with 2 cheeseburgers, a hamburger, a hotdog, 4 fries, and 4 drinks. We eat quickly and people watch. We watch people come down the river on rafts and drew makes a comment about wanting to bdo that. "Yeah we def can!" I tell him and smile. We continue to people watch and theres a group of guys coming down. I see one that looks familiar...shit he's the guy from last night.
