"You said tomorrow morning,"  "There must have been more poison in her leg than I thought,"  "Well, because of your miscalculation, she's dead,"  Bea heard voices, but couldn't see. There was a blanket over her head. Bea sat up. No one noticed her. "I never told her how much I loved her,"  Iris whispered. "You can now,"  Bea said. Everyone jumped and turned to Bea. All had tears in their eyes. "Bea?"  Sunday whispered. "Hi,"  Bea said. Bea was suddenly tackled by everyone in hugs. See what I can do? Bea heard the voice again. You're staying in my head?  Bea thought. Yep. You're stuck with me. For now. Great. "How is this possible?"  Sunday asked. "I..."  her voice broke. "I watched you die,"  Bea opened her mouth. No one can know about me. "Um...I don't know,"  Bea said. Bea sucked at lying, but everyone seemed to believe her. "You must need some rest,"  Iris said, taking Bea's hand. "Let's get you back to the Jolly Roger,"  Bea smiled softly and nodded.

Bea couldn't sleep. Sawyer was flying around her, nervously. "Stop it,"  Bea muttered. Wow, you really are a pirate. You have a parrot and everything. "Do you know how to shut up?"  Bea asked aloud. Hey, you should be careful of how you talk to the person that had your heart. Bea felt a sharp pain in her chest. See? I just squeezed it slightly. It could be worse. "Fine..." Bea muttered. Sawyer landed on Bea's forehead. "Sleep in your nest,"  Bea said. Sawyer gave an irritated look (for a parrot) and then flew over to his nest. "So, what can I call you?"  Bea asked the voice. I dunno.  Hal? "Why Hal?"  Close to my real name, but you can't know my real name. Bea cocked her head. "Hal it is,"  Bea said. Now sleep. Bea suddenly felt tired. "Thanks,"  Bea whispered before she drifted off to sleep.

Bea slowly woke up. She heard her father snoring. Bea smiled and got up. She changed into a midnight blue shirt and polka-dotted leggings. She grabbed her jean jacket and didn't bother to comb her hair. Sawyer was still asleep, and Bea didn't want to wake him, so she just filled up his feeder. Bea walked to the kitchen and opened the cupboard. Of course, there wasn't much. Lots of weird pirate-y stuff. Bea saw eggs and grabbed them. She started making scrambled eggs. "Bea?"  "Morning, father,"  "What are you doing?"  Hook asked, rubbing his eyes. "Making breakfast?"  Bea said, smiling. "Shouldn't you be resting?" Hook asked. "After...you know,"  "Father, I'm fine. Don't worry,"  Bea said, smiling. Actually, she had never been better. "Bea, who were you talking to last night?"  Bea froze. Don't tell him...Bea heard Hal say. "Um...Sawyer,"  Bea lied. "The parrot?"  "Yeah,"  "Bea, what are you keeping? I know you're lying. I know you've been lying since last night. You know something, don't you?"  Don't tell him. Hal repeated, but firmer. "I have no idea what you're talking about,"  Bea said. "Did you make a deal or something? Bea, you can tell me,"  "I can't,"  Bea said. "Bea...I can't say this not sounding rude but...how are you alive?"  "I can't tell you,"  Bea said firmly. Why does he even want to know? You're alive! Maybe he's having second thoughts about being happy that you're alive... "Shut up!"  Bea screamed at her thoughts. "Excuse me?"  Hook asked. Bea forgot her father was there. "I...I have to go,"  Bea said, walking to her room. Hook followed. "Bea, you can talk to me,"  Can you? I mean, he left you three times. Twice when you were a baby. Can you really trust him?  Bea held her head. "Bea? Bea, are you alright?"  "Just leave me alone!"  Bea said. "Bea, does this have to do with who you were talking to?"  You are forbidden to tell anyone about me. "Bea, please just talk,"  He doesn't care. Why would he? "Bea!"  Bea, listen to-  Bea slammed the door of her room shut. "Get out of my head..."  Bea mumbled. Bea could...feel Hal leave. Her head felt lighter. The string on Bea's oracle necklace started glowing. Bea looked at it. Slowly, Bea touched it. Bea, it's Merlin. If you're getting this, the darkness you have is coming back and I'm not here to help you. I'm sorry that this is wasting a prophecy. Bea, if the darkness is coming back, then you've also lost your heart. I'm still trying to figure out who gave you your darkness, but I'm guessing they're strong. Try your best to fight it. Please. A bead appeared on her necklace. It had a picture of a black flame on it. Are you really going to believe that? "Shut up..."  Bea said. Her worst nightmare was coming true. Her darkness was returning.
