"Wait, Arthur was lying to you?"  Iris asked. "Yeah. You two lived in Camelot for a while. Any idea why he would?"  David asked and they walked to Arthur's tent. "No idea. We were friends with his kid, not him,"  Bea said. "That's Arthur's tent,"  Iris said, pointing to it. "I'll go first. You guys stand guard,"  David said. "And if our dishonest king should put up a fight?"  Robin asked. "We'll make him wish he hadn't,"  Hook said as David walked in. "Is there really not anything you can tell us?"  Robin asked. "Not that I remember,"  Bea said. A bang came from the tent. "He's getting away!"  David yelled. Hook ran to the back of the tent. Bea followed. "Father? Father, I remember something, Arthur can run,"  Bea said, but not loud enough. Bea turned the corner of the tent. She saw Hook and Arthur. Hook was on the ground and Arthur had his sword raised. He was about to strike. "No!"  Bea screamed. A cloud of black smoke appeared and Emma blocked Arthur's sword. The sword flew out of Arthur's hand. Emma pointed the sword at Arthur's chest. "It is,"  Emma said. "But it's not going to help you. This sword controls no one now,"  Emma flicked her wrist and Arthur went flying. He crashed into a tree next to Bea. He looked up at Bea and glared at her. Bea grabbed and branch and whacked his head, knocking him out. "Serves you right,"  Bea muttered. Nice hit. But you could've done better. Bea sighed in anger and disgust and ran over to her father and helped him up. "Are you alright?"  she whispered, hugging him. "I'm fine," Hook said. He turned to Emma. "I suppose I should say thank you,"  Hook said, as Emma started to walk away. "You don't need to say anything. Just don't do it again,"  Emma said. "I should apologize for what I said on my ship,"  Hook said. Bea remembered Emma coming over to the Jolly Roger. What had he said?  "For when you refused to accept me or when you said you did not love me?"  Emma asked, sounding bitter. Bea rolled her eyes. Of course, her father had said that. "It's a bit more complicate than that,"  Hook said. "Doesn't matter. I'm the Dark One,"  "You're more than the Dark One. You're still you. You saved me. That was Emma,"  "What do you want from me?" "I have a question. Who is Nimue? How can she help defeat the darkness?"  Bea thought. Where had she heard that name before?  "Nimue doesn't matter anymore,"  Emma said. "This will all be over tomorrow,"  "What will be over?!! And why do you need the sword?"  Emma didn't say a word. Hook's grip on Bea's hand tightened in anger. Bea knew he was close to blowing. "Ah,"  Hook said, laughing. "All that power and you don't even have the courage to answer one simple question. Why do you need Excalibur?"  Emma stayed silent. "Emma, please,"  Bea begged. Emma turned and started to walk away. "I know you're still in there, Emma, and I despite everything, you always have your reasons,"  "You're right! I do!"  Emma said, without turning. "You want to know why I'm doing all of this?"  she turned around and stared at Hook. "I'm doing it for you,"  Emma waved her hands and disappeared in a cloud of black smoke. "Father? Are you alright?"  Bea asked. Hook didn't answer. His face was blank. Bea sighed. This would get worse.

They took Arthur to the Sheriff's office and locked him in a cell. Hook and David question him. Hook grabbed Arthur by the collar and pulled him forward onto the bars. "Who is Nimue?" he demanded. "What happened back in Camelot?"  "I wish I knew,"  Arthur hissed. "That blonde demon took my memory, same as yours,"  "Then why destroy Merlin's message? What aren't you telling?!"  Bea never heard her father yell so loud. "That's enough!"  David yelled back. "He doesn't know anything. He's a king with no kingdom. As much as he hates it...he's not important anymore,"  Hook gave an irritated sigh and walked next to Bea. "Are you okay? You seem...off. Are you feeling alright?"  Bea asked. "I'll feel better once I get some answers," Hook grunted. "Emma said this whole thing was about me,"  "I remember,"  "Are you really that naive?"  Regina asked. "She's manipulating you. That's what the Dark One does,"  "No,"  Hook said. "That was Emma talking,"  "I don't know father...Emma hasn't been herself lately,"  Bea said. Hook glared at her. "Going against your own father now?" "What? No! I'm just saying what I think..." Bea said. He doesn't believe you. He thinks you're choosing the wrong choice. Maybe you are. Bea shuddered. She hated that voice. "She's right,"  Regina said. "This Dark One, she has Excalibur, and she is ready to destroy light magic," "So that's what you think this is actually about,"  Hook asked. "A sword, she hasn't used?" "Well, obviously, she needs another ingredient to cast the spell,"  Regina said. "So, we figure out what it is and stop her from getting it. And we get our Emma back,"  "You can look at all the magic spells until you're blue in the face, but something happened between me and her in Camelot. The only way to help Emma is to find out what it was,"  Hook stormed out of the room. "Bea? Can you..." "On it,"  Bea said, following her father. "Hey, hey!"  Bea said. Hook stopped and turned around. "Father, I know you're upset, but you can just yell at everyone!" "You're one to talk,"  "Excuse me?" "The past few weeks, you've been doing nothing but making scenes! Your temper tantrums have been just as bad as what I just did,"  Bea opened her mouth, then closed it. He's right. You've been a baby lately. "Well, I'm sorry what I've been doing was what you just did. Father, we're all suffering about losing our memory, but we have to deal with it. We're close to getting them back. Don't worry. Father...you need me,"  "If anything you need me,"  Hook snapped. "I've spent ten years of my life without you. Thirty if you count Neverland. I can survive fine without you," "Then leave me alone! Go babysit your twins or watch your movies with Iris,"  Bea looked at her father in shock. "You're that self-centered to ask for help?"  "You're not the best at it either,"  "Didn't you say you had to go?"  "Yes, I did,"  And with that, Hook stormed off. Bea sighed. Talk about daddy issues. Bea squeezed her eyes shut and sighed.

Bea sat in her room. Sawyer flew circles in the air. It was the day after she and her father had their fight. They hadn't made up yet. There was a knock on the door. "Come in,"  Bea said. Iris entered. "Hi...how are you feeling?"  "Fine,"  "Me and Sunday are going to Granny's. Wanna come?" "I'm fine. I just need to think,"  "Okay. Did you hear Zelena had her baby? It's a girl,"  "Good for her,"  Iris walked away. Bea sighed. "Bea,"  Bea turned around. "Oh! Father, I didn't hear you come in. Is everything okay?"  Hook had a dark expression on his face. "Father?"  Bea asked. Hook held up a dreamcatcher. He waved his hand. Bea gasped. "I...I killed Xavier,"  Bea whispered. "You killed Merlin. You're a Dark One!"  "Aye,"  Hook said. He still had his dark expression on. Bea backed away to the wall. "Father, I know what you're thinking. Don't do it. You're past revenge,"  "You never got to meet your mother,"  Hook stated. "I know that. But don't be the person you were before,"  "Why are you suddenly being so protective over the crocodile?"  Hook demanded. Bea winced. "He's Sunday's dad,"  "So?"  "So? So? You just don't care anymore? You just care about revenge?"  "And you. So I need you safe and out of my way until this is all over,"  Hook waved his hands. "What was that?"  "Protection charm. You can't leave this room," Bea inhaled. "Why are you doing this?" she whispered. Hook smirked. "Because I'm the Dark One,"
