Carmen Mccall was not always Carmen Mccall. No she was a two week old baby with no name left on a stranger's door, fifteen years ago.

Thankfully she was left on Scott Mccall's door step. Carmen doesn't remember anything from that night, but Scott remembers as if it was yesterday.

It was raining out, badly. Scott had been ready to go to sleep when he heard it, the unmistakable sound. A baby crying.

Scott made it outside in record time, peering down at the crying baby who immediately quieted seeing him.

"hello" Scott whispered, gently picking up the baby. The baby simply stared up at him, green eyes filled with unshed tears "who left you out here?" he mumbled looking down, coming to the realisation quickly, someone had left a baby on his doorstep while it was raining with nothing but an old blanket.

Bringing the baby into his home and out of the rain, he had never taken care of a baby before.

He called Deaton and his mother, both who rushed over.

"Someone just left her here?" Deaton asked looking at the baby in Scott's arms "Yes I heard her crying, no one else was here and I couldn't smell anything" Scott shook his head staring at the baby.

"I can check the hospital, see if anyone left after giving birth." Melissa stated "Someone left her here. I can just raise her" Scott mumbled a goofy smile coming to his face.

"Scott it doesn't work that way" Deaton shook his head, reaching for the baby "Someone left her here." Scott snapped his eyes flashing red.

"We can talk to Noah. If no one claims the baby she'll be put into foster care." Melissa tried to coax her son "I'll adopt her" Scott firmly stated.

"She'll need a name," Melissa smiled "Carmen" Scott said softly, fondly staring at the baby in his arms.

Not much after that Carmen became Carmen Celestine Mccall.
