Summer sucked, the Dursely’s seemed to ignore him unless they needed something and it was late in the summer when Harry was sent out into the evening for ice cream and crisps. Harry’s red hair was tied up into a ponytail and he was in one of Dudley’s oversized shirts and a pair of shorts.

The walk was nice. Harry enjoyed the walks he had especially in the evenings when the heat of the day had started to die down but the bugs had yet to come out. The sky was red and this gave him time to think. He missed his friends, he wasn't able to send letters and everything from Hogwarts had been locked away in the cupboard under the stairs, well almost everything Riddle’s diary was tucked away in his bedroom.

The clerk looked at Harry funny, trying to figure out if he was a boy or a girl Harry assumed. The boy didn’t care though he grabbed the bags and walked out the sky had lost all colour and the sky had finally awakened when someone grabbed Harry’s hair and everything went dark.

When Harry woke up the first thing he noticed was he couldn’t see or move his hands. The next thing he noticed was much more disturbing: he had no clothes on. And the even worse part was pain in his lower half. He tired to push his magic out towards Remus towards Tom, anyone who would help him. And when he felt the familiar magic of his family he started crying.

Tom was still awake went he felt magic, Harry’s magic the wolf was still asleep so Tom went and banged on his door the magic was flickering, panicked.  “Lupin! You feel that? Just like last time!” Tom said.

Remus was up pulling his shoes on. “Following the magic.” Remus said disappearing Tom followed with a pop. The place they ended up wasn’t quite right until they heard crying. “Downstairs.”

The sight wasn’t pleasant. Harry was on the floor not dressed with only a thin blanket to cover up with he was crying and snot was running down his face. The smell of sex hit Tom’s nose and it recoiled in disgust. “Oh, merlin.” Tom said and Harry jumped at the noise.

“Its me and Tom, cub. We’re here to help, it's okay.” Remus said, stepping down more stairs.

Harry looked towards the sound though he couldn’t see. His red hair was matted. “Don’t - don’t look- at me.” Harry said through hiccups.

“We aren’t just gonna get you home. No one’s looking at you.” Tom said his words shocking even him, he didn’t know why he was being so kind, maybe it was the magical blood being tainted.

Harry didn’t say anything even as the binds were spelled away. “Where am I? Who did this?” The boy asked.

“We don’t know, can I pick you up?” Tom asked, Harry nodded but refused to look Tom in the eyes. “Back to the house.”

With a pop they were back in Harry’s room everything looked untouched and dust was covering almost every surface. “I’m going to grab potions, spell him and get pjs on him.” Remus said leaving the room.

Harry finally moved, wrapping a thicker blanket around him. “I have to leave.”

Tom held him towards the bed. “Po- Harry we aren’t sure what happened to you, we’re taking care of you.” He said spelling on one of Harry’s green nightgowns.

“You know!” Harry snapped. “It’s my fault I went out! I have to get back or I’ll lose Remus!”

Tom didn’t know what to say. He sat there shocked. “Stay a few days, just until we know you’ve healed physically.” Tom reasoned.

Harry nodded and laid back wincing. Tom went to get up to get Remus but Harry grabbed his arm, stopping him. “Don’t leave me please.” Harry pleaded.

Tom sat back down running his pale fingers through Harry’s red hair, and Harry was struck by the realization that it was the same way diary would comfort him.
