Luna vs Trelawney

A/N- I had so much fun writing this so I hope you enjoy.

Divination was an amazing class, not the subject but Luna, Luna was a seer many close friends knew this. Sybill Trelawney however was not and this upset Luna to no end. "Harry's tea leaves do not say that." Luna said while Trelawney read Harry's 'future' "One trusted, one not. Find the fraud before he finds you. Or peace wont be due." Quoted the blonde.

Draco leaned over to Harry. "Got any idea what these two are talking about?" He asked.

"No I understand Divination in practice just not in theory." Harry whispered back.

"My dear, it looks like you do not have the gift." Said the old woman. 

Luna looked madder then Harry had ever seen her. "Im a Lovegood with Malfoy blood. I have the gift and unlike you I haven't only had one solid prophecy." Luna said, her voice was still soft but it had a slight edge to it.

Some Gryffindor girl raised her hand and Trelawney dropped the subject by walking over to the other side of the crowded room. 

Luna's mood went up when it was time for Care of Magical Creatures , she liked odd animals plus Hagrid was teaching it and she always enjoyed his company.

"All right then open your books." Hagrid said.

Some Gryffindors asked how they were supposed to do that but the Silver Trio already had their books open and they were working on a few upper chapters as always.

"I have a treat for yous, Hippogrifs." Hagrid stated by showing the horse bird creature.

"Umm, we arent supposed to start with those until chapter 6." Draco pointed out.

"Yes, some of the teachers mentioned that you guys liked to work ahead so I skipped ahead, for a surprise."   Hagrid stated, Draco scoffed under his breath. "Now what do yall know about Hippogrifs?" Hagrid asked the class.

The Silver Trio all raised their hands along with Granger and a few other students, Hagrid pointed at Granger. "They're very sensitive and are easy to anger." 

"Thats incorrect actually." Luna said. "They aren't sensitive. Like a unicorn they don't like those impure in a Hippogrifs case they don't like the bad energy they can sense it." 

"Ms. Lovegood is correct, 20 points to Slytherin." Draco turned to Granger behind him and stuck out his tongue at her. 

"Now, who wants to try and pet him?" Hagrid asked. Everyone but the Silver Trio backed away. "Mr. Potter you're up."

"I don't think thats a good idea." Harry said knowing how much 'bad' or 'evil' energy radiated off of him.

"It's fine come one." Hagrid said pushing Harry forward just a tad. "Now bow."

Harry bowed low at his waist and the movement caused the necklace Tom gave him to fall free from his shirt. The Hippogrif glared. "Back up Harry!" said Luna's voice.

The bird like creature picked up its front legs but before Harry had a chance to move Draco was in front of him blocking the blow, landing the blonde in Harry's arms. "Nice catch." Draco muttered holding his arm.

"Hagrid he has to go to the hospital wing." Luna said

"Yeah some Hippogrifs can kick hard enough to kill a human." Hermione told him."Told you they were easy to anger."

"I'm the teacher I'll take him." Hagrid said.

"No, Luna and I will take him you've done enough." Harry snapped, Hagrid didn't say anything and the three made their way back up to the castle. "I'm gonna kill him, him and his bloody chicken." Draco mumbled.

"Let's not" Luna said walking behind the boys. "Harry he was upset at your necklace. Where'd it come from?" She asked.

"It was a back to school gift from Tom. Remus's roommate, remember him?"

Luna hummed. "Well it doesn't seem to effect you negatively so if must have old magic that the Hippogrif considered dark magic." She mused.

Draco groaned. "This is the first and last time I save your ass from a bird, Potter." He asid.

Harry smiled softly. "Fine by me."
