Charles took a cab from the airport and showed him the hospital's location. He couldn't stop thinking about her, he knew that he hurt her because she expected so much from him but he also was worried about her well being

Charles paid the taxi driver and got out of the car entering the hospital, he went straight to the reception "Estella Russell" he said quickly and she looked up at him with a small nod

"Room 268" she told him and he mumbled a small thank you before going to the elevator

"Charles!" An unfamiliar voice called out making him frown before looking around to see it was Adeline, he recognised her from the pictures Stella showed him

"Adeline" he greeted holding out his hand and she shook it politely with a smile "Is she okay? What did the doctor say?"

"Her ankle is severely sprained, they gave her some painkillers and she's asleep now. They said they'll keep her under observation this evening and she'll be discharged tomorrow morning" she revealed with a frustrated sigh as they entered the elevator

"How did that happen?" He questioned curiously

"Thea and I brought some tequila yesterday yo her house to cheer her up, she was feeling a bit down, you know" she gave him a tight lipped smile and he nodded with guilt in his ocean blue eyes "She was tipsy and you know Stel when she's tipsy"
