The clicking of a wooden molding device hitting the counter could be heard as a girl hummed herself a tune. Her earings catching the light of the sun, changing everything to a lavender and gold hue as she dusted egg atop the pastries.

Setting the batch into the oven she wiped her hands clean of flour and folded a To-Go box, setting in a business card and fox keychain.

Her ears perked up at the 'ding'-- signaling the baking timer. Without missing a beat, she slipped on oven mits and pulled the scorching hot tray out. Setting it down on heat protection cushions whilst grabbing tongs.

She plucked each one off from its resting place and loaded them into the box, packaging them with care before sealing the box and stamping a pink fox with the bakery's name.

Grabbing a pen, she wrote:

Thank you for choosing The Strawberry-Tipped Vixen!
Have a fantastic day!

With that she gently clothed it in a soft, strawberry scented cloth, tying it off and strapping it to her motorcycle.

She revved the engine, losing herself in the purrs of it as she slipped on her helmet. Skimming her fingers over the virtual screen, she typed in the address and turned up her favorite song.

Haru wo Tsugeru - Yama

The music seemed to waft around, mixing with the scent of mooncakes.

Passerby would wave at her, and she'd returned the small gesture with a smile as she kept her eyes on the road. Flickering to the GPS every now and again.

Nearing the destination, her brows furrowed in confusion at her surroundings.

She had wandered into the far side of the city and was currently in a construction site... but, there were no workers? It looked abandoned.

Her eyes soon laid upon another vehicle. A noodle-themed delivery car. The presence of it eased her mind a little, and somewhat reassured her that there was, in fact, another person in the area. Curtly walking towards the elevator shaft, she pulled the lever and descended her way into darkness.

She didn't know why. But it almost felt like she wasn't supposed to be there. The ends of her fur stood on edge as she tried to shake off the feeling, but alas, it lingered as she continued to walk.

Seeing a distant light up ahead, she smiled. Finally. She could make the order quick.

Just a she was about to call out for the costumer, a hand yanked her arm and pulled her body to hide behind a rocky wall. She had no time to scream because a hand clasped around her mouth.
