I was handed a knife, with the order to kill, Captian Lght. I ran towards him, knife ready to stab deep into his chest. I swiped at him which he dogged. I went to stab him again but he dogged that too, and he grabbed ahold of my wrist. I switched hands and kept attacking which he kept dogging. Soon I just got pissed so I kicked him in the chest, causing him to fall over pulling me with him. when he hit the ground he released my wrist. I sat up straddling his waste, knife in both hands high above my head. I looked down into his eyes, no fear, no anger, just calm. That pissed me off even more. I was about to stab him, I closed my eyes waiting for the sound of pain, the sound of the blood, the groan of pain, but there was nothing. I opened my eyes to see him holding my hand in his.
"Scare, I know you wouldn't want to hurt me or anyone in the crew." Lght Said. He was so calm but there was a bit of worry in his voice. I ripped my hands away from his and I was going to stab him again, but then I was yanked off of him. I was being held by my arms, I watched as Lght stood up and dusted himself off. He walked up to me and pulled the knife out of my hand. "Scare playing with sharp things is bad." He scolded me, which made me want to rip the knife from his hand and put it through his chest. I was about to lunge forward but then I was pulled into a hug. The smell was familiar, it was the smell of salt water. The smell belonged to my captain, the smell snapped me back to reality.
"C-captain," I stuttered. I looked up at him, he had a soft smile on his face. I hugged him back instantly. I snugged my head into his chest, but I was pulled away from him by the Celestial pulling me away and putting a gun to my head.
"This Is mine!" He hissed. He cocked the gun, and then pulled the trigger.
I shot up in my bed, breathing heavily. I put a hand up to where the gun was placed, there was nothing there. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I looked down at my left hand and noticed I still have the ring Shanks had given me.
"Scare you're awake," Alyviah called. I looked over at her, she was standing in the doorway holding a glass and a plate. "Hacker said you weren't going to wake up for another day or two." She walked up to me and handed me the glass and plate. I smiled at her, I started to chug my water.
"Then why did you bring me this stuff?" I asked. I looked at her again, she sat down on the side table. She shrugged and ruffled my hair.
"I just had a feeling that you would wake up sooner," Alyvaih sighed. I giggled digging into my breakfast or whatever time of day it was. Alyvaih started humming Bink's Sake. I started humming as well but I almost chocked on my food. "Ya know, Lghts worried about ya."
"He is?" I was confused. I mean he saved me from being a slave, then he brought me home after my encounter with Shanks. So why would he worry? I got out of bed and stood in front of Alyviah when I realized I wasn't wearing g the dress I was wearing a large shirt. And that I was shorter the Alyviah.
"Ya, he is, and I think we should get you dressed then we can go talk to him." Alyviah stood up and ruffled my hair again.
She walked over to a dresser and threw me a pair of sweatpants. Then she walked out, I put on the pants no problem with them except they where a bit to big for my small frame. I walked out to hear silence, no one talking to one another, just silently.
I looked down st my hand to see my new ring still there. I smiled to myself. I wondered around, and we I was just above the deck is when I heard Hacker talking.
"Yea, the haki was so stronger you could practically see it. And how Shanks and Lght were using haki to battle, So. Cool" Hacker said. I was looking down at him and everyone else. They were all sitting next to each other. Captain Lght sat right across from Hacker and Zy.
"Hey, don't say that. I had to do what I did to save our amazing Scare, honestly." Lght laughter nervously. He rubbed the back of his head, probably smiling sheepishly. I smiled to myself listening to them talk.
"His clash with Shanks was nothing compared to him saving Scare, and how calm he was when she tried killing him," Ace stated. She was smiling and she started moving her hands they way I did in my dream.
"That's a lie, the clash was better," Zoro said. He looked up and spotted me, he waved at me which I returned.
This caught everyone's attention and the turned to me, I waved to them nervously. They all returned the wave, I looked into Lghts eyes to see relief resting in them, and his eyes went from tense to gentle. I step back a bit, I had the urge to run away, buy I stood in place.
"Hi e-everyone," I stuttered. This is stupid, why would I stuttered they are my family after all so why stuttered. Maybe because I'm scared captain is upset, or maybe that he won't trust me anymore. I muster an uneasy smile. I watched Zoro walk up the stairs, he walked over to me and hugged me. I was stunned for a few seconds before hugging him back.
"Zoro, I said to leave her alone!" Hacker hissed. He stood up and slammed his foot on the ground. I looked at Hacker in the eyes and mouthed 'it's fine'
"What's up with you this afternoon?" I asked. I was met with the smell of freshness, Zoro had taken a shower probably an hour or two before I woke up.
"Shut up shorty, I missed your annoying ass voice," He whispered. He put his head on mine and held me close. I guess we do have that siblings bond, we hate and love each, thats what our siblings bond is.
"I missed you too."
We stayed hugging for a couple more minutes and then we separated. I ended up punching him raealy hard but he said I was 'weak' so I kicked him in the chest. Which turned into us fighting. But after a bit Zy pulled me into a hug. And that's how it was for next little bit was me being past around from person to person.
The last person, was Lght, I have to admit I was scared, he had to save me twice in one day and then I was almost kidnapped again. I felt kinda guilty and I wanted to run from him, but that wouldn't solve anything now will it. Everyone was on either side of me and Lght, I was staring at the ground and I could tell he was looking at me. I started rubbing the back of my leg with my foot, I was second guessing my choice of staying in his presence.
"Scare, can you look at me please?" Lght asked. I, still looking at the ground, nobbed my head. I hesitate but looked up at him. I was shorter than him by some inches. "Scare why are you so scared?"
"Because I'm afraid that you would be mad at me for what happened between you and Shanks," I rambled. I was constantly fidgeting, fear was never my thing but now it literally killing.
"Scare," Lght signed pulling me into a hug. I was too shocked to move. "I would never be mad, after all it wasn't your fault." The tight squeeze of his arms around me, was comforting.
I couldn't bring myself to move, my body disobeyed me, I wanted to hug him back but I couldn't. When Lght released me, I looked at him small smile, that's all I could muster. I looked away from him and decided I was going back to sleep. Right before I went over to my room, I yelled "Bye everyone!" And I listened for bye Scare, and I got quite a few and that made me happy.
As I layed back down on my bed I was thinking about how Lght wasn't mad at me for trying to kill him. It's not like I could just ask him. I stared up at my ceiling, but then I turned onto my side and grabbed a stuffed animal from under the bed then I returned to staring at the ceiling.
"Night Everyone," I muttered. My eyelids grew heavy, I smiled as I let my eyelids rest over my eyes. Soon every sound was cut away slowly as I fall into a deep sleep.
