Scare is overprotective

It was a lazy day, we had docked on an island and Lght hadn't let me, Zy, or Ace leave the ship because he was afraid "we could be kidnapped again". I find that completely stupid, but I have to follow what Lght says. I had cleaned the kitchen spotless, took like three naps, and spent 3 hours spacing out staring at the water. And right now, I was in one of them.

"Guys I have amazing news!" Alyviah yelled. I jumped waking up from my spacing. I looked down from the crow's nest to see Alyviah talking to the other two so I got down to see what they were talking about.

"What's up?" I asked. I stood next to Zy. Alyviah was holding something in her left hand, it was paper that said Invited on it.

"We got invited to a party and I convinced Lght to let you girls go!" Alyviah giggled. The other two were excited but, I'm not a party girl. I laughed nervously, I looked to the side knowing I have to go.

While the others were talking about the party I snuck away. I felt sick to my stomach, I walked into the kitchen to make tea for myself. I drank my tea and then started cleaning the kitchen to keep my mind off of the party.

Hours had passed, and I had finished scrubbing the kitchen spotless when Zoro busted down the door grabbed my arm, and pulled me with him. I fought against his strength but my noodle arms couldn't do anything to get him to release me. I bit his arm not even that got him to let go of my arm, it just got his grip to tighten on my arm, I let out a hiss and a whine because his grip hurt. I ended up stopping him mid-step when I did this. He looked back at me but then continued walking.

"Found her, Lght," Zoro called. He lifted my arm up making Lght let out a pleased sound. I kicked Zoro's legs in causing him to let go of my arm and fall face-first onto the ground. I stomped on his back and got ready to turn around and go back to the kitchen when Alyviah grabbed my wrist, making me look back at her.

"Now we have Scare here, everyone needs to go get ready," Lght announced, I was about to offer for me to stay on the ship to protect the ship but he cut me off, "No Scare you may not stay on the ship you're going with us, its Zoro who's staying on the ship."

"But I don't have anything to go in except for my regular clothes," I complained. I had a dress but it was from when I was almost sold off, and it is too revealing. I would take any excuse not to go because I hate parties.

"That's why we bought you this one," Ace said lifting up a dress.

I was in awe

I was in awe. That dress what something I never thought I would like something like it. I took the dress into my hand and walked to my room when Lght dismissed us.

I had put on the dress and oh my god I looked amazing. I spun around in front of the mirror, I giggled like I did when I was little when Shanks would spin me in the air when he got back from fights or when he was drunk. Suddenly there was a knock on my door and then I creaked open. I stopped and looked at the door to see Zy. My face turned a bright red out of embarrassment, I didn't think anyone would hear my giggles. I put my hands on my face hiding my bright red cheeks.

"Ready to go Scare?" Zy Asked. I nodded my head. I let my hands fall to my sides and walk behind her, my face still glowing. We met up with the rest of the crew on the dock and made our way to the party. Zoro ended up going with us for some reason but I didn't care.

Lght assigned partners/pares. Zoro with Ace, Zylock with Clown, Lght with Ethan, Me and Alyviah, and some others. I held onto Alivy's dress, I was just comforting my nerves by doing this and it did seem like Alivy minded. She wrapped her arm around my shoulder, I looked up at her but she was looking forward to walking.

When we got to the party we were greeted by a young man that seemed to be in his teens, he looked a little younger the Zoro. As we walked past him I could see the hunger in his eyes as he looked me up and down as I walked by him. Causing me to tighten my grip on Alivy's dress. When we walked in and there was a whole bunch of people talking and dancing. Everyone left and Alyviah said she was going to go dancing and if I needed her I could go find her. I faked a smile and said okay, but I didn't really want to be alone I had to manage.

I sat at a table that was empty, I had a hidden pocket that held two things, My red teddy bear and a notebook. I pulled out my notebook and pencil and started writing down ideas for poems when a boy sat down next to me.

"Hey, I'm Ruffy, It doesn't seem your much into parties," Ruffy said. I looked up at him and oh my god, he was hotter than fucking fire. I don't get attracted to people by looks but goddamn he was hot. My cheeks heated up at the sight of him.

"I don't like parties, and Hi Ruffy I'm Scare." I said. I rested my head on my notebook and let out a sigh out of boredom and trying to to blush my head off. We sat there in silence for a little bit in tell he stood up. He lowered a had for me to take if I agreed.

"Would you care to dance with me, Scare was it?" I looked up at him, I was going to say no but the soft look in his eyes made me say other wise. I took his hand as a silent yes.

The dance was fast and simple. It was a mixture of us holding hand and walking, me being spinned by Ruffy, and  more walking. But after a while of us dancing, another stole me away from Ruffy. The guy was the man I saw at the front door that greeted us.

"This is better, now your not in the hands of a sewer rat, darling your in safe hands now," The guy said.

I tried to pull my hands away from him but he had a tight grip on them. I was forced to dance with him and after a while he tried to kiss me! But thankfully Ruffy pulled me away from him. I looked down at my hand to see that they were red but, my ring was gone!

I frantically looked around on the floor but when I couldn't see it, I ran out the room, knowing a simple sentence that sounds demanding would be taken seriously. When I stopped running I was in a empty hallway. I crumble to the floor as a crying mess, good thing I wasn't wearing any makeup because it would have been ruined.

I cried for what felt like hours in that empty hallway when someone sat next to me and wrapped their arm around my shoulder.
