moving into your osaka house was fun.
it was beautiful, traditionally constructed and clean and didn't look lived in at all. the furniture was perfectly set and your bedroom was minimally decorated. there was a cozy library down the hall from the bedroom, opposite the guest room.
what made you most excited was how the home office had turned out. you had specifically requested it and you adored it, running your fingers over the polished mahogany desk, leaning your leather swivel chair backwards as far as it could go.
the interior designer and decorators had made an appointment to come visit you the following day, in case you wanted to make any changes.
your precious cars had been brought here this morning too. your white ferrari 488 spider, your baby blue 1958 cadillac coupe deville and your newest addition, an all black mercedes g-wagon.
you started work today as the head of operations in osaka for your dad's company. it was a vice president position, one for which you'd been training under your dad for a few months. you were anxious to put it into practice.
kiyoomi left early that morning to go to the MSBY training centre. you tried not to read into it, considering you had to be completely focused on work today.
but his ex girlfriend worked with him. you couldn't shake the feeling that he left early to maybe go see her. he said he would call her. did they still talk?
what was supposed to be your 'wedding night' had been thoroughly uneventful. you were utterly exhausted by the time you got into the car that took you and kiyoomi away and you'd fallen asleep.
you paused as you reached for a shirt in your newly done up closet. he carried you. he told you he'd be a good husband.
leaving in the morning without telling you wasn't exactly following those words. your fingers brushed past the rest of the linens with an absent mind.
focus, you thought. focus if you don't want to mess today up.
you wore business casual, decided to take the g wagon because it was the least showy of your cars, made coffee and took off early because you were afraid to get lost in the new city and be late.

"so how was the wedding?", coach foster asked when his players walked out of the locker room and towards the court, all ready for drills despite looking vaguely hungover.
everyone began talking at once like a bunch of school children when the bell for lunch break goes off.
"i will never know comfort like that again", hinata sighed gloomily
"i can't believe omi omi hid all that money from us for so long", bokuto pouted
"and then my girlfriend showed up out of nowhere because tsucchan is a friend of the bride and-", atsumu rambled on, uncaring of who was listening.
eventually, the coach quietened them down, trying not to judge the crowd of grown men for acting like hyperactive five year olds.
he congratulated kiyoomi, who looked happier somehow. it was tough to discern what kiyoomi was thinking but he did look more at peace suddenly.
practice went on as usual regardless of the excitement. V league's opening game was two months away so everyone had to maintain their playing form.
atsumu demanded perfection from everyone and received it to his satisfaction only from kiyoomi. bokuto made occasional remarks about how amazing the wedding was. hinata asked how you were doing. meian shut everyone up and barked at them to continue their drills.
