"who?" urban asked, scrolling through his instagram.
"chandist"
urban sighed, "maybe she realized that shit was a mistake"
"after all this time, she realizes its a mistake now?" he furrowed his eyebrows.
"or maybe she reconciled with her husband" urban said, showing him his phone screen.
jack took his phone from him and stared at the picture of chandist and michael, kissing.
urban pulled his phone from jack, "i don't think michael b jordan be playing around about his wife, so leave him alone before he whoops your ass"
as urban continued talking, jack fell into his thoughts, processing what he just saw. he couldn't believe it.
he had to admit, he liked her. he really did— and he thought she sort felt the same.
she rarely spoke to him about michael but when she did, jack noticed her tone dry. she didn't sound like the typical women in love who would talk about her husband.
he could bet that she wasn't in love with him anymore. if she was, she wouldn't be sleeping around with a younger man.
"yo" urban snapped him out of his thoughts, "i'm serious"
jack nodded, "i know"
"you still got jorja" urban joked.
jack slightly rolled his eyes. she texted him a few days ago but he hadn't replied back to her.
as the month went on, jack didn't miss an opportunity to try to communicate with chandist. she on other the other hand, avoided it all.
she kept her promise. she cut off jack for good and is fixing things with michael. they've been good. she has been showing up to mostly all his games and at times, she brought the kids along too.
