i didn't go home that night.

i wanted nothing to do with this anymore.

tyler had to leave the house to go grab some stuff. he said i should go back and try and work shit out, but i'm too tired to work shit out.

i took out the tiny container and popped another xanax.

at least it took away the pain.

tyler came back eventually after

"i thought i told you to go apologise tory." he spoke slightly disappointed.

"if you don't want me here, just say it." i mumbled as i stood up.

he quickly caught my arm to stop me from stumbling over.

"jesus, stop taking xans dude. they are really addictive and people easily OD on them." tyler spoke sternly.

"heroin isn't easy to OD on? give me a fucking break." i muttered underneath my breath.

"who even gave you the xanax?" tyler asked.

"melody. she said they help her." i replied.

"get rid of them. if you really need a fucking fix, i can give you whatever you want." tyler spoke as he sat down on the couch.

i sat down next to him before turning over to stare at him.

"where are your parents?" i asked.

"i'm emancipated. they didn't want me anymore, so i left." he shrugged as he looked towards the ground.

"I'm sorry." i replied softly.

"nope, don't worry about it. it was a long time ago." he smiled softly as he leaned back against the couch.

"how's shit with cole?" i asked.

"well, its good. i don't think he wants to pursue anything though. i think it's because of my drug problem." tyler whispered as he stared down at his arms.

"its not too late to stop you know." i pointed out.

"i know, but i don't know what i'd do without drugs. they keep me alive." tyler whispered.

"i understand." i mumbled.

we sat there in silence before tyler asked if i wanted to try heroin again.

who was i to refuse?

"i just want to be completely clear and i need a confirmation that you are matter of fact not high on any other drug right now. mixing heroin is dangerous." tyler spoke firmly.

"no drugs." i shrugged as i rolled my sleeve up.

tyler gave me a hesitant look before nodding and heating up the heroin to inject into my arm.

as soon as the needle pierced my skin, i had this terrible feeling that i had just fucked up.

(SORRY I DON'T WANT TO GO INTO DETAIL, but SHE IS OD'ING)

ashton's pov

why did she run? i didn't know where she was or what she was doing.

for all i know she could be dead.

all of a sudden i heard my phone ring and saw tory's name on the screen.

"tory? honey, are you okay?" i asked quickly.

"hello sir, i'm tyler. i-i didn't know." a younger boy spoke on the other line.

he was crying.

"you didn't know what? what's wrong? where's my daughter? is she okay?" i shot at him in a panic.

"the ambulance is already on the way. i don't know how to keep her awake. i didn't know she had xanax in her system. she told me she didn't. she took heroin with me. i-i swear i didn't know." tyler sobbed on the other end.

as much as i wanted to be mad at him, i couldn't. he didn't know any better.

"ride in the ambulance over to the hospital. i'll have someone check you out and then hopefully you can give me a complete story." i mumbled as i tried to hold back my own tears.

my daughter was OD'ing. she was using drugs. maybe i should send her back to her mother's.

tyler's pov

as soon as the ambulance arrived i hopped in the back with tory.

i felt so bad.

we sped off to the hospital and i was greeted by a man who looked exactly like tory.

"tyler right? go inside and sit in the waiting room." the man spoke swiftly as he pointed for me to head inside.

i nodded and quickly ran in sat down.

i was absolutely fucked.

tory's pov

i woke up in a fuzzy, blurry, half conscious mind set.

"hey sweetie, i'm the on call doctor right now. i'm going to take care of you." a man spoke from above me.

i really fucked it all up this time.
