The sun rising on the vast horizon. The autumn breeze flowing through the glistening air captures the many colours of brown leaves that fall throughout the season. The sound of the trees wafting through the air and the ever so slight sound of a page-turning with a muffled sound of music. Past through the shiny waters lay a child peacefully reading a book sitting in a field of flowers of all kinds.

The girl wore a purple floral dress that flowed through the warm breeze as it passed by, soft silky auburn hair tied into a half-up hair made with braids and flowers that were freshly picked from the ground moments ago. A hard-covered book lay in her hands, the name of the book unknown, and a shining necklace around her neck; illuminated by the glistening light of the sun.

The little critters around the field could be seen prancing and frolicking around, having a good time in the warm breeze that circulated the field. As time passed the breeze soon became harsher, night getting nearer as the girl stood to go back to her home where it would keep her safe till the winds calm down. Standing, the winds grew harsher and the girl could be seen going to her house, but as she approached she could see that the door was wide open.

'I was sure I closed and locked my door?'  the girl thought eyebrows furrowed, as she trudged through the jarring winds. As she approached her house she saw everything had been thrown half haphazardly around the room, books on the floor, broken cups and glass, windows open and curtains flowing with the breeze entering.

Seeing this she closes the door and windows, cleaning up the glass but cuts her hand. She walked to her bathroom to clean her wound but sees some dark sludge-like mould appearing from the shower drain.

"Wierd," she said quietly. Deciding to investigate later, she cleans her wound and puts on a plaster before getting some cleaning supplies she'd hoped would hopefully be able to get rid of the substance in her bathroom.

When she gets there she notices some movement inside the substance. As she watches, it begins to rise with bubbles appearing. When the bubbles pop it gets replaced with eyes that watch the girl as her eyes widened before she drops everything and runs out locking the bathroom door. Inside the creature began to grow bigger and bigger and slowly get out through the gap under the door.

When the girl sees this she immediately screams and runs to the front of her house but before she can she notices that the wind got worse, it's pouring down with rain and there's some thunder and lightning as well. Seeing this she takes a step back to think of her options as going outside is not possible.

Knowing this she runs as fast as she can to her room locking doors on the way hoping to slow it down and gain some time to think. But despite this, the creature soon got out of the bathroom and was going to hers covering everything in a black gooey mould that spreads throughout the room covering anything it touches.

The girl could hear the squelching noises as the creature moved while also some groans were being produced by it. Hearing this the girl begins to panic as time was running out. Looking out her window she goes to her last result and goes out of her window.

Opening her window she gets ready to jump when she hears the creature entering her room. She turns to see it behind her making her trip and fall out the window onto some sharp thorny bushes.

She had seemed to have forgotten that she dropped a pole in there once, and so she was pierced straight through her stomach.

The storm had stopped and the creature got out. It crept onto her body and devoured her with its body mass and went back into the house leaving a blood trail.

The creature then went back down the drain never to be seen again.
