Chapter 50, Old place

Evelynn POV

Y/N: Thank you.

After hearing the message Y/N had left me i couldn't help but tear up a little. Was this truly the same man that said all those things, that hurt all of us or was my mind really playing tricks on me. Was this the man i love.... or was this indeed the man he was afraid of becoming. Thinking of what to do now, my mind was going haywire with thoughts, was i playing tricks on myself, did i know that this was not the real Y/N or did i just not believe that he could indeed be so cruel after he tried to tell us.

As my mind kept filling with questions as i look over to the picture. As silence filled my mind as i pick it up as well as the necklace while gripping my own.

Evelynn: One last favour.

As i pick them both up i walk to the storage room picking up a box as i put the picture in it after writing something on it and placing the necklace inside as well. Walking outside as i walk towards the park, once i get there placing it on the bench as i pick up my phone, messaging him where the box was. As all that was left to do now was wait.

And i didn't have to wait long as i soon enough saw Y/N walking into the park, he had hidden away his wings if i could even see them at all. He seemed to have cut short his horns as i look at his eyes, they where red, he had been crying. Seeing him walking over to the box looking around cautiously as i watch from a distance. Seeing him look inside as he picks up the necklace, holding it in front of him before putting it on and holding it in one hand before tucking it away.

As he picked up the picture he looked at it before i saw tears forming in his eyes.

Y/N POV

As i receive the message the box would be in the park i start walking over there to make sure nobody else took it. Walking into the park i notice the box sitting there, i look around but notice nobody around for as far as i could see. Walking up to it i open it, revealing the necklace inside. As i let out a relieved breath i didn't know i was holding in as i hold it in front of me, inspecting it. It was the real one, placing it around my neck once more as i held it in my hand, remembering the old times as memories once again filled my head.

But before i could cry a tear i shook them from my head. Those belonged to the past, and i didn't anymore. Picking up the picture i notice some new texts written upon it as i could feel a tear for in my eye as i read it.

"Whatever happens, forever my little dragon"

As i felt my eye's beginning to sting as i felt a smal smile creeping onto my face as i put the picture back into the box. Closing it as i head for the exit once more.

Keeping my head low as to avoid drawing attention to myself as i reach the entrance gate. Seeing somebody standing there as i just put my head down further as i see her leaning against the gate.... But as i walk by a voice spoke up.

Evelynn: So this is it huh Y/N.

Y/N: So it appears Evelynn.

As i heard her letting out a little chuckle as i look to her as i see her eyes wattering.

Evelynn: Evelynn already, not even Eve anymore.

Y/N: Just forget about me Evelynn. Its better to not get stuck on a monster.

Evelynn: And yet i cant bring myself to do it.

As i see her now full on crying as i felt my own eyes beginning to sting at the sight, as i just clench my hand tighter to avoid showing my feelings.
