Chapter 22, Nice and quiet

Y/N POV

As i ran over the rooftops, still thinking about my encounter with Evelynn i felt mixed emotions. Sadness that i couldn't tell her it was me. And second of all was happiness, but for two reasons, i finally got my revenge and yet i didn't feel complete. My second reason would be the fact she didn't know it was me. It would have made this job much harder.

Y/N: No getting lost on thought now Y/N. Focus on the task at hand.

I told myself as i kept running before arriving at the safe house. It was a tiny apartment in a back allay in which i wouldn't be found. As i walk in to the room. In the corner was a bed and on the wall in front of it a map. As i walk over to it drawing a cross trough my targets face at the location where the festival happened.

Y/N: One down, four to go

I said to myself as i sat down at the edge of my bed. The next person should be at the dam. Although he might have more security if this hit leaks out to fast.

As i heard a sudden knock on the door i put on my mask as i go to open it.

Y/N: Who could this be at this hour.

Evelynn POV

As i walk back to the girls after just confronting the man. I had called Mundo about the corpse and asked if he could send a cleaning crew as he sent one right away. We don't want to cause a mass panic as i started thinking.

Evelynn: How did this guy know so much about Y/N, was he a old friend?

I thought as i walked over to the rest of the girls.

Ahri: And where have you been then dear?

Ahri asked me as her smile disappeared from her face.

Evelynn: I'm sorry Ahri, just wanted to get away from the crowd a little.

Ahri: Come on Eve, we are here to enjoy ourselves. Now lets go do that.

As she grabbed my arm dragging me to one of the stalls. It was a shooting stall as i looked at the prizes, a big fox plushy. As i walk over to the man and give him some cash as he handed me the rifle. As i shot on the target i was spot on as the man congratulated me as he handed me the fox after he asked me what prize i wanted.

As i handed the fox to Ahri she got her smile back as we walked off.

Evelynn: I swear if you break her heart again Y/N ill kill you myself.

I thought as we kept walking, grabbing some cotton candy at another stall before playing some more games, mostly winning then and getting some smaller prizes.

As we were heading home, as we arrived i couldn't help but think of the man as i look at the girls.

Evelynn: You guys go ahead inside, i still have something to do. I won't be late.

I said as i look over to Ahri pouting.

Ahri: You better not be!

She said before walking of smiling as i walk of, tracking a emotion that i was to familiar with, it was this sadness mixed with guilt. As i walk up to a apartment building, tracking it into a appartement on the 5th floor as i knock on the door.

As i heard the somebody approach i got into a slight stance as i din't know if he was still armed.

As he opened the door he seemed shocked to see me as i notice it's the same kid again.
