Reader's POV
×~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~×The band could still be heard while I was in the elevator, their performance was playing on the speakers, one of the smart ideas the owners had. This song was on the older side, probably chosen to get the parents and employees in a celebratory mood. I hummed along as the music faded away and the doors opened, the classic song getting replaced by the sounds of cabinet video games.
I hopped across the colored tiles of the dance floor, waving to Music Man on the way before I reached Pirate's Cove. I hope we won't get in trouble for being up here after I went through the trouble of making sure everyone looked nice today...
"Ahoy, party people," I called out as I entered the pirate-themed bar. Vanessa, Johnny, and Vincent were sitting at the bar while Casey was sitting at a table near them. Laura was behind the counter, she had her coat off and her sleeves rolled up, safe to say she was the perfect image of a hot bartender.
Johnny stopped mid-sip and greeted me, "You're finally here!" I hopped onto the edge of Foxy's stage, it's curtains were shut and the pirate himself was nowhere to be seen. "It's not like I took that long to get here."
"Well, in the time you took to get here, all of us got our drinks already," Casey said as she shook her glass to make her point. "That's 'cause I'm not making super complex cocktails here," Laura replied as she made my drink. I looked around to see that Vanessa was drinking a plain beer, Johnny was drinking wine, Casey had a martini, and Vincent was drinking- "A screwdriver? I thought you would've chosen recklessly and just drink the vodka straight," I said as I got my drink from Laura. "I'm not THAT dumb, we're still on the job after all," he said before taking a sip "I don't actually wanna get fired."
We sat around just chatting and drinking like adults, a nice change of pace for all of us since we usually have to be on our best behavior for the sake of Fazbear's image. I lean back and glance down at my almost empty drink, remembering what I said earlier this morning when I was in here. "Should we probably go back before we get in trouble?"
"I was just wondering what happened to that anxiety of yours," Vanessa said before downing the rest of her beer. "Tsk, tsk, tsk! You're a bad influence on them, Ness," Casey joked. "Two years ago, Y/N would have taken a lot more convincing to join us in playing hooky." Well, working at Freddy's will do that to you, eventually, you figure out that it actually takes a lot to get fired. "Alright then, last drinks before we head back down to the atrium," Laura said, motioning for us to come close.

During the elevator ride down, the ending half of the band's last song was playing through the speakers. "Wow, that's some lucky timing Y/N," Johnny noted as we listened to the music. "Great... This song's gonna be stuck in my head all week," Vincent grumbled. It was already getting stuck in mine because I caught myself humming along to it as the elevator doors opened.
It's our show and you know that it won't ever end!
Don't bite off more than you think that you can chew
'Cause the party isn't over for you!Luckily, nobody seemed to notice (or nobody cared) that we left the atrium since everyone's attention was on the animatronics down below. Casey wrapped an arm around me and exclaimed, "Look, you were worried about nothing, N/N! I bet you were just missing your boyfriend~" I rolled my eyes at her and playfully pushed her away, "I could've just left you all upstairs, y'know?" Before she could respond, she was cut off by Scott's voice, "Hey, hey! If it isn't my favorite technician!" I straightened up my posture and dusted myself off as he approached us.
"Oh, I got a call coming," Vanessa suddenly said as she held up her phone, which was turned off. "It's important too so, I'm just gonna..." She walked off, pretending to answer her phone. "Damn that's clever... Well, I should probably go! Can't have a party without waiters, y'know?" "Yeah, same!" Before I could say anything, Vincent sped away with Laura following behind him. Traitors!
With my hands behind my back, I held onto Casey's and Johnny's outfits. "You two better not ditch me or I swear I will lock you in the daycare with an overcharged Sun-" I whispered to the two before cheerfully greeting Scott "-Boss! Hi, what's up?"
"Everyone looks so charming, huh! Aren't you glad I set a dress code?" Scott smiled brightly at us. "Haha, yeah...," Cas said with a forced smile. "You look really great too, sir!" Johnny chimed. "Oh, you kids! I keep telling ya, you can just call me Scott"

After some awkward small talk with the boss, he finally walked off to chat with some other group. Once he was out of earshot, we all let out a sigh. "Y/N, you're scarier than Scott ever could be," Johnny said with his hand to his chest. Casey nodded "He's right, we're like this 'cause of you!" I playfully waved the two of them off, "Ah, come on! You know I'm too nice to do anything like that." We shared a laugh before going our separate ways, it was straight back to work for us Fazbear Employees.
I headed over to the nearest staff elevator that would take me back down to Parts and Services, humming that last song the band played along the way. Leaning against the wall next to the elevator, I waited for the machine to reach my floor. Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted- nothing? Weird, I thought I saw something flashing down at the end of the hall. Must be my imagination.
