Side note: Spamton talks normally...somewhat. He's loud and obnoxious since he's a salesman, but with anything said [in this bracket] then his voice changes in volume/sound (he speaks clearly, just in different tones). As for sentences [[in these brackets]], then his voice will switch to an advertisement, mimicking the advertisers voice!

He's also short in this one for those short Spamton lovers out there (specifically 4'9)

-Y/N is gender-neutral and is 27 (Spamton is 34)
-Y/N is a hybrid between a goat and a human (cause I have some interesting lore for Y/N to show off later on. also yes, this did say "monster of your choice", but I changed my mind in chapter 0.4)

Hold on tight for a long 1st chapter, unlike my other books.

"NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A BIG SHOT!"

The harsh glow from city street lamps reflected on the figure partially hidden in the alleyway while cars zoomed past the creature, not caring to notice them.

The person - who's name  is [Y/N] - admired an old poster that hung loosely on the side of a brick building. It was an old advertisement for one of the biggest salesmen in the Dark World, who went by the name 'Spamton G. Spamton'. The hybrid always had questions about the man, like what the "G" stood for, or why he labeled his first and last name the same, or how he got to the top. It was all questions from someone who just admired the man and dreamed to be like him. They've viewed him as an inspiration since their teenage years in the late 90's.

[Y/N] began to think back to when Spamton first appeared on the TV and how excited they were to see him with his big grin and flashing red suit on the staticky screen. It amazed [Y/N] how someone so small could rise to the top so quickly and gain all this fame in a matter of seconds! You could say that Y/N was pretty impressed by him. They looked up to him, since Y/N was usually a nobody that never got attention (HAHA L PLUS RATIO MORON), so seeing such an isolated man label himself as a "BIG SHOT" from this once-in-a-lifetime chance, Y/N wanted to be just like him. Bold, confident, proud, happy, charming, and super rich.

The individual quickly snagged the poster off the wall and stared at closer, only for a car to fly by and send the poster slipping out of their hands and drift deeper down the alleyway. They gasped and desperately chased after the poster, viewing it as a "precious item". I mean, it was pretty valuable after all, it's  not everyday you'd find a poster like this un a pretty stable condition.

Once they got their hands on the poster, they smiled at saving it before it could land in a slimy trash pile.

"That was a close one," [Y/N] breathed in relief as they carefully rolled it up, kneeling down and sliding their backpack off their shoulders before pulling out two paper towel rolls,  slowly shoving the poster inside both rolls and taping the middle to keep it secure.

You're probably wondering now, "Why the hell is (Y/N) in a dirty alleyway picking up trash?" Well, my friend, it's because the whole reason they're here was to find some scraps to create and sell things, including the possibilities of finding some rare items. They got advice from someone from one of the Undernet.com selling platforms that making unique items from scraps or finding something considered as a "collectors item" can land you some good money.

[Y/N] hummed quietly as they zipped up their backpack after shoving the stuff back inside, but their eyes couldnt help but wander and stare down the dark alleyway. They'd thought to themself for a bit before pulling out a flashlight from one of the bag's pockets, click the button, and staring down the long, wide space with the new light.

"Don't remember checking down this space before," Y/N mumbled to themself, getting a twinkle of hope that they might find something cool or rare, considering they've already had their luck with an old Spamton advertisement.
