Scarlett's pov

~~2 weeks later~~

For 2 weeks it's been un invent full if I'm going to be honest.

"Hey dad, I have a question" I say as I sit down on the couch "go ahead" my dad says as he pauses his show he was watching "y'know I always wanted to know, what do you and Alex do for work? I never knew who you work for or what you work as and I wanna know" I say Curiosity laced in my voice.

"Honey I'll tell you when your 18" he says dismissing me then going back to watch his show "can I at least know one thing, do you and Alex work together?" "Yes" is his only answer, I sigh before getting up.

"Hey, I'm going to go get some pizza do you want some?" I ask while I walk to Alex's room so see is he wants some "yes please, pepperoni pizza" he yells, i respond with an 'ok' then I walk to my brother's room, which is right by mine, then I knock "come in" I hear.

I walk in seeing my brother with a bong in his hand "I'm going for some pizza, want some?" I ask while sitting on his bed "yah give me a second" he says before lightning the bowl, I wait for him to finish before I take his bong and fill the bowl with weed and take my lighter out of my sweater pocket. What? You always gotta be prepared. Then I light the bowl and suck the smoke.

I exhale before putting my lighter back in my pocket then giving the bong back to my brother. "Ight, let's go" I say while getting up "how the hell did you not cough, that was your first time" he says while putting a shirt on "my first time with you, wait I'm never gonna say that again that sounded wrong, so wrong" I say while walking downstairs.

"Ok we're leaving now love you" I yell to my dad while putting in my shoes "ok love you be safe" he yells back while I open the door "we will, Alex is coming with me" I say before Alex closes the door.

Alex and I walk to domino's which is only like 2-3 blocks away from our house, all Alex and I talk about is just random stuff, once Alex and I get there we order our food "hi, welcome to dominos what can I get you" a guy around my age, says smiling politely "hi I would like a medium pepperoni pizza and a medium pizza with pineapple on it and whatever he's getting" I say before stepping back a little so my brother can say what he wants "can I get uh medium pepperoni pizza with mushrooms on it, thanks" he says.

I pay for everything before we step out of line and let other people order while we wait for ours to be ready.

After about 20-25 minutes our order is ready, I go up and grab the pizzas and thanking the guy who gave it to me before I give Alex his pizza then we started to walk out but before we walked out 4 people came in and I recognized one of them to be Asher.

"Hey! Asher!" I say, getting his attention, he turns his head my way before I start to walk to him with Alex trailing behind me.

"Oh hey Scarlett, how are you?" He asks with a ghost of a smile on his face "I'm good, I'm just getting some food with my brother" I say while wrapping one arm around my brother waist and balancing dads and mine pizza on the other hand.

He looks at Alex before nodding "Alex" he says before turning back to me "wait how do you know Alex?" I ask Asher "oh um, he's friends with one of my friends so I kinda know him from there" he says smoothly, I nod not know what to say.

"Are you and Alex high?" Asher asks, I smile brightly before nodding "yep" I say, he looks at Alex with an Icey look that could make anyone shit their pants but for some reason, it doesn't scare me.

"You let her get high? Alex she's 17" Asher says in a cold voice "hey I didn't let her she just took my bong and lit one" he says getting defensive "um hello just cause im 17 doesn't mean anything I've been smoking weed since I was 13 years old ok" I say then I instantly regret what I said, I wasn't supposed to say that.
