Scarlett's pov

When we walk in, Asher said he's gonna go and get his mom. When he's gone I walked to their living room and sat down on there couch. After a couple minutes I hear them talking " so, what's so urgent that you woke me up for?" Ava asks. Asher only sighs before posting my way when they walk in, Ava looks confused till she looks at me. Asher give her the note and she reads it.

She walk over to me and sits beside me and looks at the baby "s-so this is my granddaughter?" She asks before looking at me, I nod my head "c-can I hold her?" She looks at me fore and answer "I'm not the parent, you have to ask him" I say softly to her before looking over at Asher.

He looks a little mad but nods his head yes and she quickly takes the baby from me "hello baby" she says quietly "I'm going to go talk to Asher ok" I say while getting up, she nods her head before going back to paying attention to the baby.

I walk over to Asher and go to grab his hand but he clenches his jaw and move his hand away from me before walking away, I sigh but fallow him. Once we're in his office I close his door and turn around to see him looking pissed behind his desk where he's sitting in his chair.

"Why would you say that?" He says calmly but you can tell he's pissed "say what?" I ask confused "say that you're not the parent" he say before looking at me.

I sigh before going over to him and spin his chair so that he's facing me. I go and sit on his lap so I'm facing him face to face "because I didn't know if you wanted me to the mom, I wanted to talk to you before I say anything" I say looking at him to show him I'm telling the truth.

"Baby, I want you to be the mother of my kids, OUR kids. Just because this one isn't yours don't mean I don't want you to be the mom. I got mad because I thought you were gonna leave me, especially since we're in high school and well y'know, you're not the mom" he says before sighing "can you please be her mom? Please?" He asks looking at me with those fucking puppy dog eyes.

"Of course, I'd love to. And as for us being in high school we can just take her to school with us. I'll call the school and explain everything." I say then I pull him closer and give him a kiss, when we pull away we were both out of breath with big smiles on our faces.

"What are we gonna name her?" He asks before I smile "I know" he looks at me, waiting for me to tell him "Haven, after your sister" I smile. He smiles before pulling me into a hug "how did I get so lucky to have you?" He asks but it's a bit mumbled since his head is in the crook of my neck.

"Shit we need to go grab baby stuff" I say before getting up and walking away but stop before opening the door and look behind me "are you coming or what?" I ask before turning around and opening the door and walking out, knowing he's following behind me.

Once I get into the living room I sit down next to Ava "can I have her please?" I ask her but she looks at Asher again " hey, she's the baby's parent too" he says and Ava smiles before handing me baby Haven.

" so have you figured the baby's name yet?" She asks while looking at us, I look over at Asher to see him already looking at me. He gives me a small nod letting me know I can tell her.

"The other day, Asher told me about your daughter, the one that passed and I thought of her so, I named the baby after her, Haven." I say and when I look up I see Ava looking at me with tears in her eyes before she looks at her son " she's a keeper, don't fuck it up" she says "I'm not planning on it" he says while walking over to me and giving me a peck on the forehead.
