Another school day came, but this time Mia was excited. She hadn't seen Christian since friday. All day she waited for Mr. Wood's english class, which was her last class of the day. She waited patiently until the bell rang making Mia jump up from her seat in her Biology class and practically run to her English class.

"Mia, hey, wait!" Mia heard a girl's voice call her. She turned around and saw Brie, a sophomore also that Mia met in her art class.

"Hey, Brie." Mia smiled at the girl.

"Hey, I was wondering if you would like to come to my party this Saturday. It's nothing big, but my mom's taking me and a couple of my friends to this trampoline park. I understand if you can't make it though." Brie pushed her glasses up. Brie couldn't wait until the day she could finally get lasik surgery so she could finally get rid of her glasses.

"Cool, I'll come. I don't think I have anything planned for Saturday so I'm totally free," Mia nodded. "I don't know if it's okay for me to even ask, but can I bring a friend?"

"It's more than okay! Does she go here?" Brie asked as they walked up the stairs.

"Will your mom get mad if it's a boy?" Mia asked.

"Oh. Um, I don't think so. Who is it?" Brie questioned.

"It's Christian."

"Pulisic? I think he asked me who would win in a fight during a zombie apocalypse between Rick Grimes and Joel Miller. I don't even know who those guys are."

"Of course he would. Could you ask your mom if it's okay if I bring Christian? If she says no then I won't even waste my time asking him, but I'll still go. Here, I'll give you my Instagram. Christian made me make one the other day." Brie passed her phone to Mia so she could put in her username.

"Yeah, I'll ask her. I'll text you my address. We're all going to meet up there." Brie grinned. She couldn't believe that Mia, a sophomore that was so well liked and pretty much popular, was coming to her party. Not only that, but another well liked guy was kinda also coming. She really hoped her mom would say yes to Christian coming.

"Holy shit, when did you make your account? You already have like seven hundred followers." Brie said impressed as Mia gave her back the phone.

"Saturday, I think. Honestly I don't even know half the people that follow me." Mia said.

"The whole football team follows you. Look, Kevin Michaels follows you. He's the captain! And he even commented on your picture." Brie showed the comment left by Kevin.

"I just threw up a little when i read his username." Admitted Mia.

"I think he's cute." Brie smiled.

"You can have him. I have to go, but I'll text you later. Bye." Mia said as she walked into her English class. She looked at her usual seat and saw Christian already seated.

"Hey, Mia no middle Verona." Christian greeted.

"Dude, that sounds lame. But hey. Where's Nick? He's always the first one here." Mia took her seat next to Christian.

"He texted me and said that he has ISS until friday. That dumbass threw a laptop out the window." Christian explained to Mia. She heard about ISS, in school suspension, but never had it, neither had Christian. Nick was no stranger to ISS, even the security knew him by now.

"He's not going to graduate if he keeps that up." Mia chuckled.

"I told him that, but he didn't listen. He keeps throwing shit." Christian got his laptop out and opened it. As he did, the bell rang then Mr. Woods started speaking to the class.

"Work day today, ladies and gentlemen. Just turn in any missing assignments, no you cannot leave to go to another class, one person at a time for the bathroom and don't get too loud." He said from his chair. Work days were something Mia and Christian loved since they were always up to date with their assignments, it was just a free day for them.

"Look, Kevin Michaels commented on my picture." Mia showed Christian her phone.

"He's had that username since middle school." Christian said as he grabbed Mia's phone and looked through the comments.

"Do you talk to these people?" Christian asked.

"No, I don't even follow them back. I just follow you, see?" Mia clicked on her following to show Christian that he was the only people Mia followed. It made him feel better. Now, he could brag to everyone that Mia only followed him.

"I feel so special."

"Not for long, I'm going to follow Brie." Mia said. She then took her phone from him and followed back Brie.

"Who's Brie?"

"She's from my art class. She's really nice and her drawings are so cool." Mia told Christian. She showed him Brie's profile that consisted mainly of her artwork and pictures of her family.

"Oh, that Brie. I had her for a class last year." Christian added.

"Yeah, she told me you asked her who would win between Rick Grimes and Joel Miller."

"I needed a second opinion." He said truthfully.

"You're lucky you're cute."

Holy shit, she thinks I'm cute. I think I just died. Mia Verona is going to be the death of me.
