Chapter 3: Everybody have a date?

Natsu's P..O.V
"HEY FALMEBRAIN" I heard Gray yell.

"ICE PRINCESS" I fired back at him, taking a ready stance.

"SQUINTY EYES"

"SLANTY EYES"

My fist was engulfed in flames and Gray's hands were ready to fire shards of ice at me. Before either of us could react, a armor covered arm smashed our foreheads together, making us both wither in pain. "Shut it you two. Don't go breaking the guild." Erza said coolly.

"A-aye.." I rubbed my swollen forehead as I sent a glare at Gray. He sent one back at me but stopped when Erza stared daggers into us.

"Hey Flamebrain, don't go forgetting our bet!" Gray shot at me. "Like hell I would!" I shot back.

*Flashback
Natsu and Gray were fighting near the bar as usual. In between their fight, the two idiot mages made a bet.

"I bet you will never get a date to the Fairy Tail Festival!" Natsu shot at Gray while throwing a punch at the ice wizard's face. "Back at you, you punk!"

Natsu suddenly stopped making Gray raise an questioning eyebrow. "How about we make a bet. Who ever doesn't ask someone to the festival by the end of this week, has to buy lunch at the guild." The pink haired man smirked. He knew that Gray hated buying another person lunch. "You have to ask Lucy." Gray crossed his arm in front of his already naked chest.

"Fine then. You have to ask Juvia." The two men stretched out their hands and shook "Nice doing business with ya."

*End of Flashback

I sighed. I couldn't believe Gray beat me to the punch! I scolded myself that I didn't have the guts to ask Lucy to a simple Fairy Tail Festival we had each year. This will be Lucy's first.

I strolled over to Lucy's table just when Lisanna left. I slung my arm around Lucy and said, "Hey Luce. What were you talking about?"

Lucy's P.O.V
"Hey Luce. What were you talking about?" I felt a muscular arm wrap around my shoulder as I felt heat creep onto my cheeks. "N-Natsu!" I slightly screaming at him. "Me and Lisanna were just talking about our dates to the festival."

"Oh" Natsu said, almost disappointedly. "Who are you going with?" I blushed furiously. "No! I don't have a date yet." I twiddled my thumbs nervously. Our conversations were never this awkward before. Natsu scratched his head nervously. "So do you want to go with me?"

I let my jaw fall. Did I hear him right? He wants to go to the festival with me? "Um.. It looks like I don't have any other plans, so I guess I could go." I felt like screaming YES at the top of my lungs but I told my self to stay calm. "Cool. I'll see you later then?" Natsu said. "Yeah. Bye." Without wasting anytime, I scurried over to where Levy was sitting.

Mira's P.O.V
I smirked evily at the two. I cried fake tears as I thought, Everyone's together for the Fairy Tail Festival. The Fairy Tail Festival was a festival that lasts a week. The whole guild will stay at a resort near the party. Heehee. I thought. They don't know what's coming. I rubbed my hands together, scheming the "plans" I had for the lovely couples.

Wendy's P.O.V
I sat near the girls when Master said he had an announcement. The girls squeezed at the bar with each other.

"Attention brats. As you all know the Fairy Tail Festival is tomorrow. So pack you stuff right away."Master cleared his throat before proceeding. "The festival will be 4 hours away so we will have magic cars at your arrival. Mirajane will announce your assigned car."

Master gestured to Mira. Mira smiled a sunshiny smile before announcing. "So. The car assignments are....."
