Chapter 10: Surprise after Surprise

Juvia's P.O.V

I glanced up at Gray again while we were watching the fireworks. His eyes locked into mine when I looked up. My cheeks turned pink at how close our faces were. My face turned hotter when he leaned forward.

Everything from then was a blur. I felt his warm lips press up against mine for the longest 3 seconds in my life. When he pulled away, I was pretty sure my face was melting from the blush.

I turned around and saw everyone with their mouths open. Mira looked like she was about to die. From embarrassment, I got up while grabbing my purse and quickly sprinted to the direction of the sakura garden.

I slumped down next to a tree and rubbed my temples. What just happened? I just sat down and watched fireworks like a normal person and then minutes later Gray had his lips on mine! I closed my eyes and sighed. I should be happy but instead I was so nervous.

"Juvia." I jumped at the sound of my name. "Don't scare me like that Gray-sama!" I said, slapping his arm. "Sorry. Sorry." He said but the look on his face said otherwise. But his smile soon turned serious.

"Look Juvia." He started as he took his hands and held onto mine. "I'm sorry about earlier. I just did it out of the blue. I wasn't thinking." He sighed. "How do I put this in words? You light up my life every time I look at you even if I don't express it. I don't want to loose you like I did with Ur and Ultear (idk how to spell -_-#)"

I took a shaky breath. "Gray-sama? Are you saying- " he sighed again. " I'm saying that I think- No. I know that I fell in love with you in the short amount of time when you entered my life." I felt tears prick at the corners of my eyes after Gray's confession.

"I-I love you too Gray-sama!" I launched myself at him, wrapping my arms around his neck. He turned stiff but he melted into the hug and wrapped his own arms around my waist. I pulled away first and before Gray could react I grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled him down for the kiss I wanted.

"That was so beautiful!" A familiar voice spoke in the distance when we pulled away. I turned a dark shade of red when I saw who it was. Mira stood behind two sakura trees fangirling like a crazy person. "Mira! they would hear. Shhh!!" Another voice spoke from behind. I saw two blobs of blond and blue behind Mira and a hand which belonged to the blond covered Mira's mouth before she could say more.

I walked up to them and cleared my throat. "Ahem. They can already hear you." Gray and I raised an eyebrow. "Juvia!" Lucy squeaked. "Um.. Don't mind us. Levy here had to go to the bathroom and um.. Mira led us to the wrong direction." I rolled my eyes at the bad excuse.

"Hey! We did not!" Mira and Levy both demanded. Mira pointed at Gray and I. "We were going to eavesdr-" I sighed when Lucy and Levy covered Mira's mouth again. "Juvia didn't hear anything.."

Natsu's P.O.V

We were all surprised when Ice Princess and Juvia came back holding hands. Behind them were Mira, Levy and Lucy looking all giggly and they were whispering to each other the whole rest of the show.

"It's about time Ice Cube!" I patted Gray's back after the fireworks. "Thanks Flamebrain.. You ought to confess one day too.." Huh? "Oi! What do you mean?" He just rolled his eyes at me. "To Lucy of course." I scratched my head. "What do I confess to Lucy?"
