Chapter 5: Boring Car Ride

Don't you hate it when people spoil your favorite book for you? That's exactly what happened to me!

I almost choked them to death and danced upon their graves.

Mira's P.O.V

I sighed and pinched my nose in frustration. My so called ships are
not cooperating with my perfect plans. I planned that I would drive and Laxus was was in the passenger seat and we would switch off. That part was fine. But the others...

Lucy and Levy clung to each other for dear life saying they are going to sit next to each other with Erza, who happily agreed. Wendy and Romeo backed off claiming they were next to each other with the exceeds. Gajeel and Natsu were pleading Levy and Lucy to sit next to them. Juvia was crushing Gray in a bone crushing hug forcing him to sit next to her. The only problem was Gajeel, Levy, Natsu, and Lucy.

My anger was boiling inside of me and eventually morphed into my Satan Soul and stomped toward the two future couples. "Ok." I growled, causing both male dragon slayers to squeak. I turned toward the girls. "Either you sit next to your boyfriends or you deal with me. I'll force you to sit next to them in an un-lady like manner." The girls opened their mouths to say, Their not our boyfriends! but I shut them up with a deathly glare. Lucy and Levy shut their mouths and sat next to the dragon slayers.

I felt pleased with my work so I transformed back to my cheerful self. So the final seating arrangements are: Driver and passenger are me and Laxus. Middle row was Natsu, a grumbling Lucy and Levy, and Gajeel.
The last row was Erza, Romeo, Wendy, Gray, a happy Juvia, and the exceeds. Everyone got seated as I started the car.

~~Time Skip: 1 hour~~

Ezra's P.O.V

"This car ride is soooo boring!!" Natsu commented during the car ride. I had to agree. For the past hour, no one spoke besides small side conversations. Wendy and Romeo eventually fell asleep. Mira suggested we play "romance" games but Lucy and Levy refused.

"Do you have an idea, Flamebrain?" Gray stated causing the fire user to blow a fuse. "What did you call me ice cube?" "I SAID-" Gray said but Natsu interrupted. "I HEARD WHAT YOU SAID!!" "Then why did you-" Before Gray could say the word ask, I slapped the two mages in the face to shut them up. "Now how about we play a game or we all shut up." I said, earning a fierce nod from Mira. Wendy and Romeo finally woke up and rubbed their eyes in sync and complained about the noise.

Gajeel grumbled. "I ain't gonna play a damn game." Levy pouted. "Well thank you for volunteering to name a game, Gajeel." Levy said forcefully. "Go ahead state the game."

Gajeel just groaned and went back to sulking. At the corner of my eye, Mira was fidgeting in her seat. "Why don't we let Mira suggest a game?" I suggested. Lucy and Levy groaned. "Erza." Lucy said through clenched teeth. "You know that she will make us play "the" games." Mira pouted and went back looking at the road.

"If we do play a game" Levy suggested. "We can't play truth or dare or the pocky stick game." Everyone nodded in agreement except for Mira. "Oh!" Wendy suddenly said. "We can play 3 truths and a lie." Everyone had a questioning look. "How do you play that?" I asked. "So we all go around in a circle." Wendy said, drawing an imaginary circle around us. "One person goes at a time stating 3 truths a one lie. The other people have to guess what the lie is." Lucy clapped her hands together. "Oh!! Let's play!"

That's when things get embarrassing.

Lucy's P.O.V

I pointed at Natsu. "I volunteer Natsu's tribute of going first." Everyone nodded and the game started.

"So." Natsu started. "I have a dragon as a dad, I can eat a steak in 3 seconds flat, I can play the piano, and..." He stopped to tap his chin. "I have crush someone." Everyone turned toward me after Natsu stated his last lie or truth. I felt heat creeping to my cheeks. "W-what?!" I stammered. Level leaned into my ear and whispered, "I bet he's talking about you.~" I gave her a slight shove toward Gajeel. "Shut it Levy-chan."

Wendy raised her hand. "The lie is that you can play the piano." She guessed. Natsu grinned which made my chest flutter. Stop it! I scolded myself. "That's right!" Natsu said. Levy snickered. "I told you." I gave her another shove that left Levy on a blushing Gajeel's lap.

Wendy went next and the game went smoothly until it went to Erza. "So. I was an orphan at a young age," Erza said. "I love acting, I don't like anyone unlike Natsu, and I love strawberries." Wendy clapped her hands. Ohh! This a hard one!" Everyone sweat dropped on her.

"The lie is that you don't like anyone." Levy guessed. I snorted. Yeah right I thought. "That's correct."

"WHAT!!!!????" Every gasped at Erza who was blushing. I leaned over the seat. "Who is it!? Is it Jellal? I bet it's Jellal." Everyone nodded in agreement. I tapped my fingers impatiently. "So. Are you gonna tell us?"

Everyone leaned in to catch the name. Erza looked down at her twiddling thumbs. She mumbled something that I couldn't make out. "Speak up Erza we can't hear!" Her blush deepened. "It's J-Jellal."

Ezra's P.O.V

Ounce I said Jellal, I regretted it. I expected everyone to grow angry at me, but my theory was wrong. "I KNEW IT!!" Nasty cried out. Levy and Lucy squealed. "You guys make a great couple!" I glared at them to hide my boiling face. Gajeel and Romeo had a puzzling look.

"Wait, who's Jellal?"
