Annabeth's P.O.V

I felt Iike I was suffocating. This was way worse than when I had to hold up the sky . It's like the whole world was crashing on top of me .

Sobs escaped my lips making me shake a little , while being in Jason's arms .

I hated crying it made me feel weak . That's why I rarely cry , especially sob .

" I'm really sorry " , Jason's voice echoed through me , till it reached my brain and registered it .

My tan arms were wrapped around his neck tightly and his were on my waist holding in place like I was an hour glass .
I knew I had to let go , but I didn't want to . It felt nice having someone .

" just hold me " , I mumbled coming out muffled since tears were rolling down my face like a waterfall .

He didn't say anything , but his hold on me tighten and rubbed my back softly .

I finally let go of him and covered my face with my hands . A headache was starting to form and I knew this one I wouldn't be able to avoid .

" Annabeth look at me " , Jason whispered softly like as if I was so fragile and I would break any second .

I looked up and saw sad electric blue eyes staring back at me . I fiddled with my hands and tried to clear my cloudy mind .

" Can you forgive me " , Jason said almost begging me .

" I can't " , my voice came out raspy from all the crying . I pushed a loose strand of curly honey blonde hair twirl behind my ear and I bit my lip nervously .

" I understand " , he said softly , but still gave me a sad smile .

I could tell it was a forced . Beneath those swirling blue eyes deep in there there was sadness locked up .

" but I could eventually " , I added .

His smile brighten than it was before and he let go of me . He wrapped a tan arm around my shoulders.

" Promise me something " , I told home looking him right at the eye .

His shaggy blonde hair swept across his head and fell slightly over his forehead . His eyebrows crunched slightly showing he was somewhat confused . He was wearing the camp half blood t-shirt that was loose on him .

" Promise me you won't ever leave me " , I told him .

" I wouldn't even think about it owl head " , he said , while his eyes twinkled . " I promise " .

I smiled and I ran out the cabin , but half way out the door I peeked my head in .

" What are you waiting for lightning boy " , I said teasingly at him .

He smiled giving me a glimpse of his pearly white straight teeth . He didn't say anything , but ran towards me .

I laughed and ran for it . We passed the lake and everyone around us were chatting happily . The birds were chirping happily and it was a sunny day , but not too hot .

Grover and Juniper were sitting on a bench nearby holding hands laughing together . Campers were doing their usually chores of the day like always .

The Stolls were running away chuckling from a girl from the Demeter cabin that had bright green hair . She looked furious and was running at them with a shovel in her hand .

Today seemed like a usual and perfect day .

Except one thing . Percy and I weren't together anymore .
