Annabeth's contagious laugh echoed through the forest making my heart flutter .

Snap out of it .

It's wrong to feel this way .

Shaking my head I sped up desperately trying to catch up with her .

Her unique curly blonde hair swayed from side to side . My eyes followed back and forth .

Thump !!

I suddenly was on the ground sitting on my butt . I massage my head and patted multiple times my pants that were covered in dirt .

Annabeth's laughter became more distant , until I could barely hear it over the cracking leaves under me .

Wasting no time in standing up I ran nonstop , till I caught sight of her blonde hair .

" There you are I was getting worried " , Annabeth said running , while staring right ahead the whole time . Picking up her pace she abounded me once again seeing Leo's cabin over in the distance .

Too tired to run I
walked the rest of the way there and was welcomed by Annabeth smirking at me .

" Guess now you have to do the chicken dance at dinner " , she says with a grin .

I roll my eyes at her and knock on the discolored cabin door .

" You did not just roll your eyes at me mister ", she exclaims playful putting a hand on her hip .

" I just did ", I said sticking my tongue out at her .

She raises her eyebrows at me and takes her earrings off .

" Wow " , Leo shouts at us opening the door .

He points to Annabeth and says , " you go put your earrings back on missy ".

Annabeth pouts like a child and slowly puts her earrings back on .

" So , how's life in h*ll ", Leo asks her .

"You mean school ", Annabeth says chucking .

" What's the difference " , Leo says crunching his nose in distaste .

Annabeth roles her eyes him and enters the cabin , while I follow behind .

Tools of all kinds covered the wooden desks along with sketches of buildings and other things . The bunk beds were messily made and papers were scattered across the floor . We were the only ones in here other than 2 campers concentrated in making a desk .

" She found out " , I whispered to Leo glancing at Annabeth with a frown . She was to busy gazing at some sketches to hear us .

" When did she find out ", Leo whispered way to loud making Annabeth turn around quickly and face us .

Her gray eyes swirled like a tornado and she glared at us . I gulped and looked away nervously .

" Look at me ", she demanded calmly .

Reluctantly I faced her along with a Leo who looked like he wanted to sh*t his pants .

" You guys knew " , she said surprisingly in a soft tone with her eyes showing betrayal .
